Hey Girl, that turned out pretty good.... Im quite impressed!! He will be up and down that scratch post in no time.... the only thing I would change, is I would put the smaller scratch post, with the round top, in front of the patio doors when you are away, so He can bird watch. Also, adding a bird feeder outside... if you are allowed... gives the cats hours of entertainment... I have two feeders, and my girl gets balcony time in summer... and loves her birdies.... Well done Darlin!! Your kitty will be very happy!!
The way the board is makes it look like a tree, I started watching the video thinking it was a solid block and wondered how the cat was moving from one shelf to the other. LOVE this design and will use for my future home!
It was a fantastic idea to attach the scratch board to the shelves. It gives tha cat room for playing, it offers volume to the design, and it just looks great overall. Not to mention the colors and final touches. Thank you for this. I am currently catifying a room, and this is something I can definetly use.
Great work! I like how it looks when finished. I also like how you made the shelves longer than most other examples I've seen. The plants are a brilliant idea. It makes it all look so homely. I'll definitely design mine to take plants too. Well done!
thank you so much for this! i’ve been looking for a DIY video that didn’t seem so complicated as i’m a complete beginner. you made this process so easy to follow and executed it AMAZINGLY! i can’t wait to try this. thank you!! :)
Thanks for sharing your design, it clicked 💡as the approach I'm looking for! We have 4 young big cats I'll be doing a double sized version of this for them🙂
Incredibly well done! We just got two new kittens and I am trying to figure out what to do with my office for them! Thanks for the fun tips! I especially like the climbing wall accent!
Beautiful kitty wall , im betting Jackson Galaxy (The Cat Daddy) would definitely be impressed with your design and the love you have for your beautiful 💙CLEO💙
Thank you so much for this. I am looking at my bored cat n my blank wall. I too will use longer n wider boards as my boy is a Maine Coon at 18 lbs. as senior I have always gotten senior cats so am not used to a three year old n his activities. He loves his laser, n I just got us a heavy duty stroller (don’t tell anyone but it works like a walker for me). I bought the less expensive ones n they were not anywhere near the heavy duty three wheeler is. Toby loves to get out n check out the neighborhood. I like the aesthetic look of the flat board n gives your baby more places to scratch. ❤
So going to try this put now. Moving to a smaller , one level place and really want to keep my cats stimulated. Things i've seen so far were either super dear or looked really 'cheap'. Even though i am on a small budget and want to create something cheaply, i do not want it to look like that. This is beautiful
I love this idea. If he doesn’t scratch your awesome scratching boat you made maybe rub some cat bio on it if he responds to catnip. Or you could have cut it in hale and used them as ramps he could run up and down. Either way it looks amazing thanks for sharing
It’s really cute. I’m trying to figure something out for our 18 yr old cat. She is so loving and a climber. I just really want her to have a nice spot.
This is great. You might want to shorten the string for the playthings. Its recommended to not have string long enough for them to get wrapped around their necks. And look into airplane or spider plant. I think they are safe for them to munch.
Such a cute cat wall!! Was looking on Amazon at cat walls and they seem so expensive! Have you or anyone else had issues using normal floating shelves with something grippy added to them?
I have two cats ! I love this ! Gio would go nuts 😅( well he had puma) and Tiggy is my kitten) we would love to have one of these !!!!! ❤ I’m so proud of you prima!
Looks great and I think your cats will have fun but I’m afraid it’s not 100%renter friendly since a lot of landlords don’t allow drilling holes on the wall.
Been renting for 20+ years, and never had an issue drilling into walls. As long as I fill the holes when I leave, I’ve always gotten my security deposits back. I am speaking about rentals in a few different states in the US, not sure if that makes a difference 🤷🏻♀️
In Canada at least, landlords can't stop you from putting things up on the walls with screws, but they can deduct from your security deposit if there's damages when you move out. So as long as those holes are repaired and painted when you leave, it's totally fine. I understand that most people may not have the skills to achieve that though, which is why most landlords will say you "can't" drill into the wall (even though they can't actually stop you from doing so, there will just be consequences in the future).

She is so loving and a climber. I just really want her to have a nice spot.
Handsome kitty! Is he a Russian blue?
Also, I savored the chill music you used.
Awesome. He may not climb it but he can scratch it anywhere ❤
It looks good! Nice job! As for how much it cost you I'm curious if a cat tree would have been cheaper?
How have these held up? Any follow up advice that you wish you would have added in hindsight? Thinking about doing this project myself
This is amazing thank you for sharing!

How is this renter friendly as you are drilling the walls?
Looks great and I think your cats will have fun but I’m afraid it’s not 100%renter friendly since a lot of landlords don’t allow drilling holes on the wall.
😂😂 as soon as I heard “drill gun” I was like 🧐

Absolutely quite entertaining to watch and Worthy to come continually back and view it thank you so very much for the share
@@PoissonDemiVideyeah nothing wrong at all if you just patch the holes. 😊
You can also put cat in soft mesh cage on pato while you are home
