@@GlynRBrown The tone is serious. Neither one of those films were serious. Thor was an origin story. He had to be made human to understand what humility was. He was a humbled being. Dark world used pieces of it. But the last two are not Humble Thor. He is more arrogant. A soft down toned theme would not highlight well a prank pulling frat boy Thor who destroys everything.
@@GlynRBrown Indeed,the base can be converted into anything the composer wants. But producers felt the need to distance themselves from the original film...too heroic. Most likely they wanted something 25% different...like everything these days... Love your music by the way! = )

such an underrated score... wish it was used in the other movies more.
They should of kept this theme for all the other Thor movies.
Would not fit with the tone of Ragnorok or Love and Thunder though.
