I guess I could set aside a whole rainy day to make up several hundred of these filters. That way, I wouldn't need to go thru all this rig-a-ma role every every time I wanted a cup of coffee. Good idea, though.
This is really not the best method. Go buy the largest paper coffer filter you can, they are sometimes as cheap as $1.50 for 100. Just fold and cut it in half, so you have two semicircles. Roll and fold into the reusable k-cup, AND purposely leave a tail out and no need to trip around perfectly. This way, you get 2 k-cup filters per 1 large filter, and you can use the untrimmed tail to pull the whole thing out to make cleaning super easy even when the filter is still hot from brewing. In fact, I have been refining a cutting method, so I can get 4 k-cup filters out of 1 large filter.
