I have an idea for the threaded bit holder.
glue nuts to washers then glue washers to wood.
given the small surface area of the nut it might hold better metal to metal.
washers with more surface area would hold better to the lumber.
    just a thought...

+Benjamin Mckenzie Hi Benjamin, good idea! I'll look into that when I'm ready to make the conversion. Thanks!

Wow, that's a really nice setup and your idea for adding nuts to the wood instead of threading them and using crazy glue is even more nice. If it was me I would have probably been more lazy and just added a small covered plastic bin to the board where all the tool attachments can be stored. I could deal with the attachments being somewhat unorganized inside the covered bin realizing all the work it would save me in creating individual threaded holders for each one. Plus it's easier to pick out which attachment you want from a bin than it is to thread it in and out from a holder each time you use it. I guess if I wanted to save time in finding a specific attachment like the ones for the case trimmer I would just add a few dividers to the inside of the plastic bin. Either that or I would have started looking for common things that could be more easily modified into making a holder. Maybe an old bike inner tube stretched over a piece of wood or plastic where the grippy properties of the rubber inner tube could be utilized to hold each attachment in an organized place using punched holes in the side of the tube. I've only watched 3 of your videos and I like what I'm seeing. Thanks a lot for sharing your knowledge. I've already learned a lot and I think I'm going to learn even more.

Okay, okay... The 2x4 my case trimmer is mounted to doesn't look anywhere near that good... I'll work on it, I promise. ;)
(nice lookin' tool holders you have there!)

+jamesmbutler LOL, hey, if it's not broken, don't fix it. As long as it works for you, it doesn't matter if it's a 2x4 or a fancy modular workbench. Years ago, I used to attach my press to my kitchen table with C-Clamps and you know what? It worked just fine! Thanks for watching!
