If "true paganism" had survived, you probably wouldn't be there today at all. Because true paganism is not about beautiful dresses and candles, but about human sacrifices, ritualistic violence, dependence on evil forces, spells and curses. It is only after having been thoroughly purged by Christian morality that you are now sitting in front of the screen, admiring nothing else but some national dress style that is "true paganism" to you.

@@andriyshepard3095 Although Baltic and Slavic paganism seems to be an innocent animism, it too enslaves the human person, making it dependent on the necessity of nature, rather than liberatig his spirit. In any paganism man is forever trapped in a cyclical infinity, never breaking into eternity. His psychology of relationships with a deity is the one of fear, trade and business rather than that of love, trust and gratuity. And what's more, man can never feel himself truly free of his fault and thus needs constant sacrifice. So, perhaps you shouldn't talk about something you don't really know and that makes you see paganism in such a rosey light.

Hola Mario q tal ?

Excellent work!! Our pagan ancestors will be pleased to hear the calls once again. I think w the end of Communism, the collapse and corruption of Christianity and the invasion and organization of Islam, all of us of European decent are remembering WHO WE ARE and HOW WE GOT HERE! I have felt it myself at a recent lighting ceremony of an Odal rune and the spark of true self was lit in my inner being. The pagan beliefs are true because they are completely organic and sprung forth from our folk and made us who we are. 😊👍
+Sonny Thomas Great words. I also felt like a key open a chest inside of me and its hard to describe. Some kind of brighness not from the skies , but from inside . Maby thats what Hinud refers "Chakhras". After Cristianity took everything that is good out of old faith and what they didint take called "Pagan". Paganism does not describe the old religion. If you noticed all the churches are built on top of shrines and built near old treees where old faith was celebrated. This old faith connects not only europeans, but the whole Indo-european continental massives. Tho I wouldnt call Cristianity evil or anything as it contains most of what old religion was. It just hinders me that it is also Organisation .... With a Pope ? and A person on cross ? That was a historical figure not as much of a religion as Jesus basicaly started the organisation of old religion and called cristianity ... Thats history not actual faith ...

@@descendedofrigvedicclans2216 I didnt say pagan is dharma. Dharma means natural way, pagans also believe natural way. They are not the same thing but they agree on lots of things and philosophically they have the same core. So they are in a way, brother/sister religion because core philosophy is the same: Idea of Natural Law, Gods, Goddesses, respect to nature, cyclical time etc.. But Dharma is superior because of vast libraries of texts like Bhagavad Gita, Srimad Bhagavatam etc..
The word Pagan refers to those people who believe in a Form of God or many Gods. This word was given by Christians to those who were non-christians at that time. We believe in the samething. Only difference is that they have lost Hindu (Sanatan Dharma) connections. Before 2000 years, advent of Christianity, it was consideration part of same religion. Example, Indra, the Hindu God and Zeus, the Greek God are both King of Heaven, ride the elephant, and carry lightening bolt as a weapon. You can say they are former followers of Sanatana Dharma. But at the end, same religion. Both are Pagans. Ask any Born-again Christians. They will agree that we practice a type of paganism. See, not so different. Thank you.
All this seems very familiar to me, Kulgrinda seems very similar to our offerings to Kuldevta. Swastika you formed can be found in every Hindu household without fail.

This is original culture of Europe devasted by monotheistic mindset. Very relatable to our old Vedic culture. In some aspects more beautiful than ours. It's a living testament of our ancient forefathers. Hope they allow nonveg here.
More Aryan than Vedic, but connected definitely. Non-veg for sure
@@Soundofmusic777 Paganism is not monolith, what you described, may be fitting for south american native religions, but not baltic paganism. Don't talk about something you don't really know about.
@@Soundofmusic777 Europe, witch-hunts often arose in connection to charges of heresy from Christianity. An intensive period of witch-hunts occurring in Early Modern Europe and to a smaller extent Colonial America, took place from about 1450 to 1750, spanning the upheavals of the Counter Reformation and the Thirty Years' War, resulting in an estimated 35,000 to 50,000 executions

Great words.

Thank you.
