Seasonic's fans on the Focus GX series are very quiet. I had to put my ear up to it when I turned it on with the included fan tester for the 550 watt version during my first build in 2020. It's not as quiet now but that's because I stored it in a drawer for a year with no protection (was using the box as a monitor stand to use with a laptop) so dust and stuff fell in there. It's still inaudible inside the case and due to the placement of the PSU (at the bottom in my first case and in the back in my current O11 Dynamic EVO case) Seasonic suggests to keep the fan on at all times instead of zero fan mode. Edit: I just realized that I don't have experience with the new Focus GX ATX 3.0 series so I only know about the noise based on Cybenetics tests (very thorough btw). They gave this an A- noise rating so very good. The graph for the noise showed that it doesn't go over 20 dB until you push it to 560 watts or so and stays below 15 dB when you use less than 250 watts so very good numbers. You stay in that 90-92% efficiency range from about 160 watts to about 650 watts so that's great. This is at 115V. The numbers are a little different at 230V of course as it's more efficient at that voltage. See for yourself: www.cybenetics. com/index.php?option=power-supplies¶ms=4,1,12
Great video, very informative, but can you tell me the exactly model that is you are reviewing. There's quite a few models in the GX series. Thank you.

Apparently it never makes a sound.
