Hello everyone,
▶ Orthosis is a type of appliances which are used as an external support to the body part .There are a number of orthosis used from head to the toes as per requirements .
▶ USES- they are used to
- to support the affected body part
- To prevent / control undue movement
- To prevent or correct the deformity
- To prevent tightness / contracture of muscles
- To keep the joint in anatomical position
- To provide support and stability
-To support the weak body part
