I'm just hoping for someone to make one of those animations where they gather the best clips from youtube videos and do a full animation of the best parts! Except on Fantasy High, that's like 99% of the video, so...
I actually though of something similar. Animating the entire show, every second only to realize that's a monumental task and would take me years. Not to mention, my drawing skills are that out a toddler so I'd not be very good lmao
I’d like to think that’s the Rogue entry exam for the Adventuring Academy, considering how Aguefort actively encourages his students to fuck his shit up
“Sir there’s this rogue who’s been taking classes but he’s never fully registered here, he just kinda appears and disappears” Aguefort: “Sick, give him an A”
Brennan is such a great DM. A good DM really makes the game as fun as it is. One that’s able to adapt to a situation but isn’t necessarily letting you win. A DM that guides you along a fun challenging path. Also the way he embodies the npcs personalities is great!
Also, he's a great voice actor. Sure, a couple of the minor characters have sounded nearly identical, but every major NPC has a fairly distinct voice and that really helps the entertainment value.
I know we don't get to see all of the behind-the-scenes, but that surprised me; I'd have honestly guessed she was a veteran who was just doing her thing.
Wish granted, if you havent seen it, its out there, got me to start watching fantasy high and escape from the bloodkeep(since i love Matt Mercer), wish i hadnt seen the end of it though, definite spoilers

Yeah, Ally has really done a great job, given that they've never played D&D before. Probably because they're in acting and improv, it makes it come more naturally to them.
Mad respect to those who build all the models and sets. They looked incredible and added so much to the experience. Also, the drawings are really beautiful. Love the style!

Listen to Not Another Dnd Podcast! Murph DMs this one, the players are Emily, Caldwell and Jake (two other former CH members, very funny people). It's so amazing!
I think I would literally pay a not insignificant amount of money to be in a D&D group with a DM like Brennan. I want to show this series to people who are on the fence about wanting to play D&D.
Only 16 episodes were made for the Fantasy High campaign. Dimension 20 will carry on, but not Fig, Riz, Fabian, Kristen, Gorgug and Adine. Sad times...
this is my favorite series on TH-cam, and on the internet in general. I binge episodes when I'm bored, and even just listen to this as a podcast while traveling or working. I was in love with the cast members in the skit videos, and this series just makes me fall in love with them even more. And I'm surprised that some are new to DnD, because they're just amazing.
What you need to check out is Not Another Dnd Podcast! Murph DMs this one, the players are Emily, Caldwell and Jake (two other former CH members, very funny people). It's just hilarious!
I only pay for Dropout TV to watch Fantasy High, and I am constantly impressed by Brennan's skill as a DM. That bit about laws being a threat of violence during the jail break is one of the funniest things I've ever seen. Thank you for this show!!
@collegehumor @dropout this is a gem! I love the blend of breakfast club meets princess bride. Thank you for giving modern day storytelling/gaming a format to be shared! Very grateful!
Wow, I don't know how I missed this when it came out. I always wondered about what goes into making such a detailed complex setup for dnd, but this is absolutely amazing! Y'all have such a dedicated team and put so much effort into every detail, it really shows in the final product. Escape From the Blood Keep has such an amazing set of props and minis too, kudos to everyone behind the scenes of both Fantasy High and EFBK for making Dimension 20 stand out, and congrats to Brennan for making something you enjoy into a series.
It’s so cool to see a set making section as that D20 dome blew me away from the start. I can’t believe how high quality all the props, lights and sets are. This backed with a fantastic cast of talented actors really made this my favourite show this year
I owe a lot to Collegehumor, they got me into D&D, they got me into listening podcasts (which my parents think is weird for a teen to like), and they got me to listen to great old music. I bet you working in CollegeHumor is like getting a fricking first class ticket to heaven
Dude, as someone who is an aspiring DM and is actively working to get the things together to run a campaign for my friends, seeing Brennan and the CH crew playing on a piece of cardboardmakes me feel so much more comfortable about how little monetary investment it takes to run a good game of dnd

This series actually got me into tabletop gaming. I had my first game just a month back at a local MiniCon, and a week ago I was the Keeper/DM in introducing my friends to our first Call of Cthulu session. It was AMAZING! This series made the idea of tabletop gaming look, not only like a lot of fun, but also ACCESSIBLE. I looked at the series and realized, 'Hey! I can do that too!'
Great series. I know I've said it before, but I really want to thank the production team for all the work they do on the minis and terrain. It really helps bring the show to life.
I can’t express enough how much this show and Dropout in general has kept me watching collegehumor content. It’s great to see how Brennan and the cast truly act as people and comedians, and as long as this show exists, you’ll get my money.

Haven't even finished catching up with this show yet but I gotta say its one of the best things I've seen in a long time. Been a CollegeHumour viewer for years now and have been a fan of Brennan since he joined, maaan is he an excellent DM. I gotta say this series is just on another level, the story, the characters, the meticulous and creative battle scenarios, the role playing, the worldbuilding, the miniatures! It's all so on point, and the interactions are amazing, I really do hope you make more Dimension 20, in a different setting perhaps, but you gotta keep Brennan at the head of that table, the man is a genius.
I never really sign up for any subscription service and bum Netflix and such off others but I LOVE this series SO MUCH that I subscribed not only to watch more but to directly support the creation of more. Incredible stuff guys. Brennan, the intrepid heroes, and all the staff going into this deserve so much credit for all the effort put in this amazing series. Love it!
I appreciated the hard work since it started but I didn’t realize just HOW crazy it is behind the scenes! I love this series and everyone who puts effort into it 💕
Hi! I've got to know this show with my daughter. She is 17 y.o. and I am almost 50. I just loved to watch this show with her! I used to play a bit of RPG when I was on my 20s and loved it. This show, the sets, the DM, the players, everything is amazing!
Minis from Poland? Hell yeah! Much love from a Polish guy here :D I very much enjoy having a glimpse at what was going on behind the scenes, this is a great project ^_^
That’s really cool guys, al that effort to make really detailed sets and characters that come to life through the imagination of the players, the dungeon master, and the watchers

It feels so weird to see Brennan standing up after watching hours of him sitting down behind a table
