There's so much great stuff in Frankenstein that I never saw put on the screen so I'm all for constantly doing remakes or rather new adaptations of it 😂.
I'm curious to see what The Black Phone 2 will be like. Also, 28 Years Later seems promising, although the fact that they're making it a trilogy gives me pause. Also, 👓. I couldn't find any eye emojis.
So excited for Return to Silent Hill. When they announced it in the Silent Hill transmission, I am SO happy we get another movie in this world. And if they are faithful to SH2, we are in for a treat visually and storywise.
Surprised I’ll be seeing Julia Fox in two films later on this year. Definitely wasn’t on my radar but Presence & Him sure are… 2025 might give us just as much good horror as 2024. *fingers crossed*
I read Clown in a Cornfield last year and i loved it! it was so much fun and I was pleasantly surprised by the gore, considering it’s a YA book i wasn’t expecting it to be so graphic, so fingers crossed they are gonna keep some of the blood and guts in the adaptation!
Outlast was one of the first games I played when I got my first PS and it’s truly HORRIFIC!!! I never finished it, I couldn’t!! 😭 I’m so excited for this years horror releases, this was a fantastic list Emma, you always put me onto films I haven’t heard of anywhere else🥰💜
I can handle horror movies like a champ but horror videogames are such a different beast for me! I got so terrified even just watching Julien Solomita play this one, I would have a heart attack if I played it myself
I am looking forward to seeing your ✨favourite actor✨, Dan Stevens, as a priest * cough* 😶🌫 But I really think people should stop naming their movies The Ritual. It's getting out of hand 😂 Thank you once again for the video! I got a few new ones for my watchlist 🤩💛
👀 Im so glad that you added Bring her back to this list and mentioned that the sequel for Talk to me won't be releasing this year. I mentioned it in the comments for the previous video. Bring her back is easily my most anticipated horror for this year
Great update on 2025 horror movies I'm even more hyped for this year now. I read all of the Fear Street books and have read the Prom Queen i hope it's faithful to the book. I'm personally looking forward to Push because I'm going to take my cousin, who's a real estate agent, just to make her job a little harder. Lol
19:49...one thing you can bank on in the horror genre, there is ALWAYS a need for a older lady in horror films, Lynn Shaye is now a horror icon now thanks to that need.
to be fair, most of our legends are old people that keep playing similar roles to the role that made them famous, but mostly in lesser movies. and we keep buying tickets just to see them. there is a reason why those who watch stream last year even cared about given it an opportunity, "the Cast" was all we needed.
ooh thanks Emma for sharing those with us. Have quite a few I am interested in watching: Him, Death of Unicorn, Return to Silent Hill, Outlast, Rabbit Trap. Vicious looks promising as Dakota is in it and I love her, but also Clown in a Cornfield sounds yea to me due to the director. Might get tempted by Together cause I like sci fi horror a lot. Anyway - happy 2025 - looks promising!!
My birthday is February 20th ,same as Kirt Cobain .ill be 43this year. I am greatful to share a birthday with such an icon , I know its not horror related but I wanted to add this. I always wondered what his favorite horror movies were.
Thank you for giving more updates. You’ve been my go to when it comes to horror movies for a few years now, so I really appreciate the effort you put into these videos.
so pumped for Presence and the marketing of the real estate agent is part of the reason because Steven has been doing this since 1989, h'es got a such a refined technique from films like Kafka, the Informant!, etc. I totally get why there is no need to read the script, horror by Soderbough ? I think Presence is the first movie I'll be seeing this year in the theaters, (besides Nosferatu). It just totally looks like my jam. Definitely checking out that real estate website! Funnily enough, i have never played Outlast 1 or 2, despite owning the PC versions. I have played Outlast trials quite a bit though, and solo! It can be very frustrating, but addictive because of the immersion you feel. Honestly, i spend most of my time hiding. 😂 Curious to see what they do with the Outlast movie...
I’ve always loved horror movies but your channel has made me appreciate them so much more deeply, and your passion and gets me so excited to watch every time!

The Woman In The Yard is the worst title I've ever heard for a movie 😂 ETA *very* intrigued by Him. I suspect there might be some Satanic shit involved, given the original title GOAT? Like I know it's an acronym but we've all seen The VVitch, we know what the literal animal represents.
Regarding Outlast, I can't play it. I am a huge horror fan.I own over 130 horror movies that I watch every Halloween season. I've played Silent Hill games, Resident Evil games but Outlast brought out so much unexpected anxiety in me, I just can't do it.

Enough with the catholic exorcism/possession movies pls Hollywood 😩
But thats what the satanic cult, ehm....i mean hollywood likes the most

Naw it's my favorite genre I'm finding. I love them all 😂
Try "il demonio": (1963). Makes all possession movies afterwards superfluous.

Outlast movie?🤔
The movie presence seems to be kind of reminiscent of Nicole Kidman in the movie The Others😮 the camera POV angle being that of the ghost😮
17:30 I have Outlast. You should try Outlast Trials! It can be played solo or multiplayer, really cool!
Yes I just got it on sale in December! But finishing silent hill first which is taking a while . Have you played outlast 2?
The Woman In The Yard is the worst title I've ever heard for a movie 😂
ETA *very* intrigued by Him. I suspect there might be some Satanic shit involved, given the original title GOAT? Like I know it's an acronym but we've all seen The VVitch, we know what the literal animal represents.
The clown in the cornfield book is pretty mid imo, but I really liked the sequel. And I think the first book will make for a good movie.
The Unicorn is capable of giving you a jab
Haven’t watched your wrap up yet but now I gotta go see why everyone is offended lol I guarantee it will be something overblown.
Regarding Outlast, I can't play it. I am a huge horror fan.I own over 130 horror movies that I watch every Halloween season. I've played Silent Hill games, Resident Evil games but Outlast brought out so much unexpected anxiety in me, I just can't do it.
I love it so much it’s so worth it! I played it with a heart rate monitor on haha
Wheres The Rule of Jenny Pen
I’ve seen it already seen it 👀

I’m genuinely not interested in Companion now. I’m so pissed about that trailer
The Bride can’t possibly be worse than Nosferatu.
I saw Presence and I blame the f*cking marketing department. It’s a family drama, DO NOT EXPECT TO BE TERRIFIED FOR 86 minutes.
