We'll soon be going on our second outing and will feedback anything worthy of sharing. The only thing which annoys me is the very strong blue light from the fridge. I need to hang a tea towel over it when sleeping!
Hi , great in depth video , we are looking at this van ourselves and just curious to your tow car as we would need to upgrade ours , thanks in advance .
We have a 2014 se 2L (147bhp) manual Korando (Ssangyong). My previous caravan was lighter than this so I have yet to tow it any distance. However, I have every faith in the car and the 'figures' all add up and come to about an 80% match when van and car are loaded with our usual gear.
Just thought I'd add a further reply having towed the van on a holiday recently. All went well. No problem for the Korando. It was steady and I felt very much in control. The Acadia was noticeably steadier than my previous van due to the ACT. All good!
It's cheaper; lighter; don't need solar panel; happy with the number of plug sockets; not bothered about extra trim and heavier steadies. Not bothered about extracter fan (too noisy and made my last van darker). Heated towel rail is standard silver and does the job. Having used it I feel it is the right choice and think you get an awful lot of kit anyway. The money I've saved will go towards a new tow car! I think it's a great van. J
