Fyi, the a train service to the Rockaways will be shut down starting January 17, 2025 until May 2025 because the A train was trashed in superstorm sandy 14 years ago.
@ and that’s why I’m doing all of my runs on 8 Av and 6 Av before the shutdown happens. I completed everything on the E and I’m in between my southbound leg to Far Rockaway and 207 with the R46 and then I have two more round trips on the A to do with the R211 and then I have an R211 C train run to do and then 8 Av will all be done before the shut down

They need to get rid of the r46s because the r211s are entering service and the r160s haven’t been on the N,Q and W since October of 2021 which sucks
@@Thomas-ep3zl if Jamaica yard gets mixed sets between 160s and 211s, we could see some 160s again on the N Q W

@@Thomas-ep3zl i’m not sure. We’ll have to see but I do think there will be some R211s that are assigned to the B and D trains in the option order
