I thought that was one of hardest parts of translation and I'm really surprised they aptly localized it. This line strongly represents him and also becomes a meme in Japan.

That's usually Araki's way of foreshadowing without planning ahead. He usually leave some 'clues' as to what that characters ability. While it usually works, sometimes it also backfire horribly , like Sandman's Stand in Part 7 (first introduced have sand-like ability with 3 claws marks following it, then it got retconned to basically Koichi's Echoes)

That's usually Araki's way of foreshadowing without planning ahead. He usually leave some 'clues' as to what that characters ability. While it usually works, sometimes it also backfire horribly , like Sandman's Stand in Part 7 (first introduced have sand-like ability with 3 claws marks following it, then it got retconned to basically Koichi's Echoes)
His Stand is a strong one for sure.

I don't think he's expecting people to say 'Paris' the Italian way, but he's complaining that in a lot of pop culture people pronounce it 'Paree' because that's the French way, while with Venice pretty much everyone just says 'Venice' and doesn't care about its Italian name. Which... kinda makes sense? Even with that explanation he still sounds pretty insane, so classic jojo dialogue I guess
