  • Here's another compilation of clay craft ideas you might be interested in making. I use store bought air dry clay which you can find at any craft or toy shop.

You can also make your own clay with the ff ingredients: 1 cup cornflour, 1 cup white glue, 2 tbsp vinegar, 2 tbsp cooking oil. Mix everything in a pot until completely blended. Place pot over low heat and cook, stirring constantly for 10 to 15 minutes until the clay begins to form.

    very nice idea!
I wonder why you doubled the pieces AFTER they were dry?
did you fear they were too thin and they would break easily? or maybe you saw cracks in the pieces and corrected that?
just wondering! but I would love a reply 🤩

Thank you! Yes, I added another layer so that it would not easily break. That was what I used to do before. Now I just make it thicker ca. 1cm in one go.

Hello Crafty Natsky ! I made this project following all instructions , did not paint yet. I am not positive I can do your colors and shades :-) I have a question if to display outside should I use spray protective or by brush? And how safe it would be outside weather concern ? Thank you in advance !! . Svetlana

Hi, that's nice to know. When I put/display my creations outside they are always under a roof. I seal them with just acyrlic varnish. I actually haven't tried any other sealant yet. I have read about using epoxy resin to seal and form a waterproof layer of protection.

@@craftynatsky I use acrylic spray or Mod Podge with sponge brush. It depends on a project. I make air dry clay flower pots and experimenting :)

Hi, I love your creations, some of them seem easy enough for even a novice like me to atttempt. They would make lovely little unique gifts for my family.
Could you tell me what you used to put the wording 'Hang in there' on the cat wall hanging please, I'm looking for ways to add words to my air dry clay makes. Thank you.
Thank you for sharing your wonderful creations with us too 😊

@@craftynatsky Thank you for your reply. I don't have a die cut machine unfortunately, so looks like I'll have to find some other way.
