Nice setup! The ergonofis desk is definitely top tier for those who want a more refined solid wood option with the latest tech. I don't really see myself ever upgrading my sit/stand desk unless I decide to swap the top to a lighter wood tone. I just wish at this price point, they offered more unconventional options for desk depth... expanding upon a conventional 30" depth to something like a 32"-34" would be ideal for me.

I used the Mevo camera to stream/record my whole wedding day/night. It really surprised me how easy it was to setup and how well it worked.

Maybe for next year, try mounting a power bar, you probably need an 8-10 outlet to the underside or back of your desk, so you just have 1 black cable running. It'll need a lot of cable management to tuck all power cords and power bricks but looks clean. Works pretty great cause you only need to worry about 1 cable when standing your desk. Then make sure your outlet as well as your phone jack there is black or dark, maybe even just a clean plate and tuck phone jack into the wall if not using ever. Consider a more modern flat wall trim molding. Thanks for the video, love the aesthetic

Yea it's on the expensive side but I haven't seen any other camera look as good so I think it is priced appropriately considering the other options available.
Your camera and video editing skills are the real star here.
Pretty sure you will change this setup, the window glare is a constant distraction and opening the windows drowns out the monitor.
Your cable management is not bad at all. You do need a battery backup though.

What is the MagSafe accessory you used in the beginning?
This looks like an amazing standing desk. I checked their website and they are also from where I live (Quebec). I would love so much to encourage our local businesses. I need to buy a new desk and this time I want to try a standing desk because I'm falling asleep after lunch and since I can't afford to lose focus while doing financial transactions, I'm trying to find new creative ways to stay awaken when I'm digesting my lunch. lol Unfortunately the desk is not within my budget and the sizing doesn't fit exactly what I'm looking for. I mean, for the depth, my 49 inch ultrawide monitor is not curved enough to sit too close and I would like also more width to fit my two 27 inch screens with my work laptop and still have space on my right to open my laptop screen during team meetings. I also have a MacBook Pro for personal usage that I'd like to put on the left with a KVM switch for after work. So yeah, more unconventional sizing options would be good... and the pricing is too high (not surprising for a product built from Quebec considering the astronomical production costs for everything here... but buying from Canada is also a formidable quality insurance for any product).

I love this setup! I've been considering adding a floor lamp to the corner of my desk as well as changing out the wheels on my autonomous ergo chair pro (I'm in an apartment with carpet so I purchased a plastic mat for the chair to roll around on but now it has huge divots in it which hinder me from rolling around ). Do you have links to the lamp and the chair casters that you purchased?

Great video and great design choices. My only head scratcher is why the mirror awkwardly placed in the corner? Is it to reflect lighting for videos or to make the room seem larger in videos? Otherwise, that would be my only change.

Put the dell light dial under your desk, you will de-clutter and still have access to it. Just glue it the other way around somewhere where you can reach it.

I know that the MagSafe stand is designed to work with their setup cockpit because it comes with a bolt that you screw into the available threaded sockets under the riser, but is there any reason why I couldn’t just buy a wood screw and drill it into the riser that I already own? I love the design of that but don’t have the need or want to buy their whole ecosystem since I have another solution

everytime i watch a youtube setup video by a mac user, i'm immediattely reminded that mac users apparently don't understand the concept of a NAS.... and insist on having "portable drives"... for some incoherently illogical reason........ so sad....

Awesome setup! Subbed! Question though, with that caldigit hub how are you powering your macbook? I have mine connected to my monitor but it only works when you have the power adapter plugged in when its closed. Does that one thunderbolt cable to the hub power the mac as well?
Yup, the CalDigit powers the MacBook through the thunderbolt cable. So whenever I dock it it also charges

Agreed. Disrespectfully overpriced. I found much cheaper ones that look almost as good on Amazon after some research.
These creators promote these products for the companies. Hard to tell if it’s a real personal review and aside being over priced. Etsy has half the price on these items
They are not disrespectfully overpriced, just in a different market. I've tried many desks and the cheaper ones will do their jobs but will never wow me.
You are allowed to make your own decisions when buying a desk. I've had countless opportunities to change my desk over the last 4 years from companies but I stuck with this one because I love it. Also, I would LOVE to see Etsy desks that are half the price compete with this in terms of quality. If you have any leads, please do share.

Thanks! The homepod minis work via airplay so I can use any of my apple devices to control them. So if I play any media in my laptop it can work with the minis. I haven't tried the PS5 so I'm not sure if it's possible.
