Thanks for great video! Just wondering if that model from Cdn Tire came with the required 17 L of hydraulic fluid (which nowadays in an extra $100+ cost if not included)..?
@@PoplarMechanic ok FYI out there for anyone buying the Yardworks 25 T Full Beam model 060-0550-6 from Canadian Tire, apparently no longer comes with hydraulic fluid. You'll need 17 L so plan to put an extra ~$100 on price tag. Nothing said about that in documentation that I got with it.. :(
Just found out in alberta they are exempt from registration so you can tow it on the road without plates just stay below 80km. Also played with alot of champion engines and found if your shutting down for the day or longer shut the fuel off and let it stall. If not the carb will let fuel into the cylinder and go past the piston rings contaminating the oil and destroying the engine. I have the same splitter and it works great but just things to look out for
I put a 3/4” high pressure hose from the hydraulic pump to the directional valve and it will stay in the low pressure side of the pump more when under load. When you split those big knarly pieces it will do it easier too. That 1/2” line is actually on the small side for the pump flow at 14 gpm.

@jayferris306 I'll keep a lookout for you. Bc 1500s are the best for our areas, in my opinion.

Did you delete the link or did TH-cam?
@janosvadas I didn't see a link. Did you leave one?
Yeah, for the nomogram from a hydraulics company for figuring out hose sizes.
Just means TH-cam deleted it.
@janosvadas that's weird, I didn't even see it.
