U can place the lid on top of the battery, and press it. There is no need to use fevibond or any other glue.

Never. You need 12v adapter to charge.

I tried this method with distilled water on 2 batteries which was 5 to 6 years old and my two batteries is now fully working with UPS. And giving back-up of about 5 to 10 minutes.

it is not fake im using my ups with reapired ups battery. if your ups battery not work it mens your battery connections are broken. there some videos on youtube how to reapir it.
