    Pete is by far the most tasteful player I've heard in a long time.
    It's great to hear the sound of the guitar and the player shine through.

    Stop it Lee! Pete could use a Pringels box as an amp and it would still sound killer. What do you wanna proof to us ? ;)
    Honestly: STUNNING! Wish I could play my strat that good some day.
    And just by the way: I never stop by to see any products - nice to get to know some of them anyway ;)

      Mister Knight Owl it's actually a very good sounding amp. You probably haven't played one in person and just basing your opinions or your iPhone speakers :p

      Marc Huzansky nope, sure havent heard one in person. im looking for an amp, so im listening on pretty high quality monitors in my studio room. no headphones, no cell phones. i just dont dig it. im not an anti modeller or ss amp guy either. some csn actually be quite good. i just didnt hear what i like to hear in an amp during this demo and im getting kinda sick of hearing all the hype over the last year or so of amps like this, the boss katana, marshall code, line 6 helix and so on. the only good modelling amp ive heard are the fender mustangs. if you fiddle with those ALOT you can get a good sound. im not including axe fx and kemper in this discussion. thats a whole other breed. to all the kids reading this wondering what to get, its real simple. a gibson les paul and a proper marshall head are all you need to rawk. if your metal just get a 6505 or old 5150 and an ibanez. if you like country or jazz or stuff on the lighter side of the musical landscape, get yourself a proper strat or tele and a proper fender tube amp. there is other great stuff out there but wading through all the demos, ebay, craigslist and so on is time that should be spent practicing.

    • @shoeonhead
      @shoeonhead 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Mister Knight Owl totally disagree, but that's what it's all about lol. And your monitors are worth jack shit when the compression TH-cam uses is still jack shit. What do you think about kemper?

    Great playing. But it doesnt sound like a tubed amp, it kind of gets close but never hits the tubed amp sound.

    • @shoeonhead
      @shoeonhead 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      aidanscovers I think he's has just as much feels but in a different style. Robs playing is great but emotionally sterile for my ears.

    • @aidanscovers
      @aidanscovers 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Rob doesn't hear a damn thing he plays. The only advice about playing guitar I would take from rob is how to play faster. He just does scale runs.

      iDemandU90 Bea does heavy metal?? I have heard him play prog metal, djent, hard rock, blues, ambient, and many other things but never heavy metal. I'd like to see that!

    bias head djent demo please

  • @StillLivinginthewoods
    @StillLivinginthewoods 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Danish Pete is probably my favorite Strat player on TH-cam, but that amp would be unimpressive at a quarter of the asking price.
    This thing sounds about like a Digitech modeling pedal plugged into a SS Randall amp. ($750 total, for a half stack AND the pedal)
    Does it sound absolutely terrible?... No.
    Does it sound anywhere near worth thirteen hundred bucks?... HELL NO!
    Obviously this is only my personal opinion,... anyone who is genuinely happy with their purchase of this thing,... good for you.

  • @petereccles6813

    What's with the push of these heads? I don't think they sound particularly good? Pete's playing on the other hand does

  • @trollfiddler

    Horrible sounding amp, great playing. You can hear the notes calling out for some hot tubes.
