Finally, some childhood memories. My family got Sneak Prevue on Continental Cable vision Los Angeles and then on MediaOne starting back when I was born in 1992.
This and the Prevue Channel were pretty much my childhood viewing experience. I used to watch this for hours on end. It's probably the reason I didn't have many friends growing up. But it was a beginner's course in technology. Not sure there will ever be such a unique service like Prevue Networks. This makes me smile as it brings back happy memories. That music bumper at 4:18 is soooo 90s! Wow!! I miss this era!
yeah there replacing human with cyborgs at McDonalds. and its only going to get worst. but at a time with no social media and internet they probably thought they werent serious. but the Sega Genesis graphics, how they always replayed the same movie over and over again, definitely has some nostalgic vibes.
I have wanted to see the pre-1995 version actually utilized instead of just the demo tapes. I don't remember this music. I must be thinking of the music they used in 1994 that carried over in to 1995 changes. Hope to see more from 1991-1995.
I doubt I'll find any more from Sneak Prevue for a long time to come. Sneak Prevue was carried in Seattle but not in Yakima or other central WA towns. This was found at a Yakima estate sale where the homeowner originally lived in Tacoma. Accidental recording left on all night (and taped over a few times after that). - Taylor
