I swear this guy has one of the best voices I've ever heard

Apparently I have been under a rock somewhere. I am 65 years old and I listen to classical and big band singers. And just by accident, I stumbled upon this man with the “Joe Cocker” kind of voice and then all these other people. I am not easily impressed. However, l am hearing life and heart and passion in the voices and the instruments and I am very excited about being able to hear all these treasures. Thank you all kindly.

Ich sag es immer wieder: er sollte noch mehr mit weiblichen Sängern singen... Das passt so perfekt...
passt überhaupt nicht... amk kommt nur über den druck seiner stimme und im duett muß er den immer senken und dann merkt man einfach, dass er nicht so ein supertalentierter sänger ist, sondern wie z. b. rio reiser oder udo lindenberg zu 99% über seine texte faziniert... er sollte bei seinem alten stil bleiben und nicht abheben... er wird nie ein talentierter sänger werden, aber er kann trotzdem ein ganz großer werden... denn es zählt nicht immer nur die gute stimme, sondern der text und wie überzeugend man ihn rüberbringt... könnte da auch die ärzte oder die toten hosen nennen... auch alles keine überragende sänger, aber sie haben eben das gewisse etwas und diese art von musik hier von amk überzeugt mich halt kein bißchen... wirkt eher sehr hilflos und aufgezwungen... was das ganze gezappel am mikrofon doch zeigt... wüßte echt mal gerne, ob das ganze von ihm kommt oder vom manager/produzenten...
Seelenwinter 666 du willst doch nicht ernsthaft AMK mit Udo Lindenberg oder den Ärzten vergleichen. Die beiden hört man wirklich ausschließlich wegen der Texte und auch wenn Henning May bestimmt nicht der perfekte Sänger mit der perfekten Stimme ist, hören ihn die meisten trotzdem wegen seiner Stimme. Diese ist nämlich absolut einzigartig, auch wenn nicht 100% sauber und perfekt. Die Texte sind da zweitrangig.

The synergy between these two is simply amazing! Henning, in my opinion just outshines and outclasses every other person he's sung with, that I have seen. Except her! They are PERFECT together! Absolut beeindruckend, wie man es als so (stimmlich) dominanter Musiker schafft, sich so zurückzuhalten, bzw. sich anzupassen, dass man sich nicht in den Vordergrund spielt und der Gesang auf einem Niveau ist oder an den Stellen, wo es passt, dem anderen Part noch die Bühne bietet.

LEUTE! Es macht mich total fertig, was hier in den Kommentaren passiert. Ich persönlich finde es unmöglich wie hier manche sich die ganze Zeit beschweren "ähh früher war alles viel besser was ihr gemacht habt, die ganzen anderen Künstler passen überhaupt nicht zu euch, ihr seid doppelt so gut wie die anderen Künstler blah, blah, blah"
Lasst uns mal bitte nicht vergessen, warum Menschen überhaupt Musik machen: weil es Spaß und glücklich macht bzw weil man gut seine Gefühle ausdrücken und teilen kann!
Ich finde diese Zusammenarbeiten von diesem Konzert oder was das war super. Und der Witz von so einer Aktion ist nicht, dass was am Ende rauskommt perfekt ist, jeder Ton getroffen wurde und die komplette Kombi auch perfekt ergänzt hat und man die Version am Ende verkaufen könnte. Aber sicher gibt es Menschen, denen es so gut gefallen hat, dass sie dafür Geld zahlen würden, weil die Geschmäcker eben verschieden sind.
Bei solchen Aktionen, die ja eher "Live-Jam-Sessions" sind, geht es darum spontan zu sein und Spaß zu haben und damit das Publikum zu begeistern und dafür zu sorgen, dass das auch Spaß hat. Und das ist ihnen, meiner Meinung nach voll gelungen!
Wenn man Musik zusammen mit Leuten macht, die aus einem komplett anderem Genre kommen (bspw. SXTN), dann finde ich das klasse: man experimentiert rum, was gut klingt oder was Spaß macht, hat einen Austausch zwischen oberflächlich ganz verschieden wirkenden Musikern. Aber mit ihrer Zusammenarbeit beweisen sie, alles kann zusammen passen und man muss keine Angst haben, neues auszuprobieren. Einfach Mal zusammen Musik machen for the love of music.
Dass so verschiedene Künstler zusammen Musik machen, zeigt auch, dass es kein "gutes Genre oder schlechtes Genre" gibt, wobei das eine noch "echte Musik mit echten Instrumenten" ist und das andere "neumoderner Möchtegern-Müll" oder was auch immer.
Es ist eben andere Musik. Und es zeigt auch viel von Weltoffenheit wenn man sich nicht abgrenzt, sondern zusammen, als Leute, die Musik lieben eben einfach Musik macht!
Edit: was ich noch sagen wollte: ich finde es auch total richtig und wichtig, dass sie den Anfang nicht weggeschnitten haben, wäre ja kein Problem gewesen. Es gehört doch dazu, dass man manchmal verkackt (was ja null schlimm ist). Man muss, wenn man erfolgreich ist auch manchmal allen anderen klar machen, dass man selbst nicht perfekt ist (und das eben auch nicht schlimm ist) und dass man selbst auch mal klein angefangen hat, um auch Anfänger zu ermutigen.
