lovely ride - I even hit the pause and visited the pub/inn/hotels along the away (YT) tho it left me hungry and thirsty . Not sure we made it to Weston by Smith''s Coaches from Reading in the 50s but now I have - thanks - from an 80 yrold in Philadelphia.
Nice Video thanks for posting it brought a lot of memories back for me when in the 1970's driving on the 352/353 Bristol to Weston Super Mare service, there were no X1 service but a limited stop service in the rush hour, Looking at your list of timings i see there is only a 30 second difference between the X1 faster service nowadays & the 352 which stopped at every bus stop went via Long Ashton Village & took 64 minutes the 353 went via Claverham village & took an extra 4 minutes, Looking at the route out of Bristol with all the bus lanes the biggest hold up is all the traffic lights, No time improvements in 50 years, Thanks for the memories.
