As a native English speaker (American) and non-Korean speaker, I always appreciate the pure musicality of the voices, with just a little taste of English to hook on to . As such, I'm usually suspicious of English-only K-pop songs. I worry the magic will get lost in a gimmick, or that they're selling-out their Korean roots just to gain a wider audience. (Yes, I realize idols come from all over, including the US & Canada, so it's unfair to limit their "acceptable" languages.) But I must admit, "The Feels" is flawless! I love it! ❤️ The language is natural, not at all forced, and that K-pop sound remains intact. It's wonderful! It's perfect! (Thanks for reacting to it DA!)
no they knew about the album being announced, which is next month, but they didn’t know the concerts were going to be announced so soon lmao. also, twice only do instrumental tracks for japanese singles, so no worries there.
Impossible for Twice to not know about either the album of the concert. The album is likely already done - everything on their schedule is prepared for, planned and executed months in advance. Besides, they have to choose, record, and produce the albums, create and practice the choreo, pick out and tailor their outfits, plan, shoot and edit the MV, and print the albums. No way that you're going to be able to do that in the 1 month remaining till release. The tour is planned even further in advance than the MV. What they were shocked about is that the video spoiled their upcoming schedule, because (1) they are usually told not to spoil, and (2) they are the ones that do the spoiling.
Yeah this is my thinking too. I don't think it would be possible for JYPE to just *hide* a tour from the girls. x)
Excited for all the things coming up, but I also hope that the girls get to rest the ammount they need to, and that Jeongyeon is on her way to a recovery.

Yes, they knew about the schedule, just didn't know about the poster spoiling their schedule. Their world tour will kick off in Korea (24-26 Dec), though JYPE had not officially confirmed the dates as they wanted to release them together with other tour dates (not as easy to schedule/co-ordinate due to COVID restrictions).
Well I also think this reaction was done months ago right after the MV was finished So maybe they didn’t know it then. Just because the MV reaction was posted now doesn’t mean they only did the reaction after it was globally available.
@@KingKikikoi The final cut of the MV was finished not that long ago and looking at their styling and hair, the reaction was not that long ago. And if you watch the reaction video properly, they did implied that they knew, just did not know these schedule will be spoilt. In fact, they usually knows of schedules many months ahead.
The thing about them singing so well in English that gets me is out of all the popular kpop groups I feel like they know English the least or are the least comfortable using it publicly. Granted, I became a kpop fan back in 2008 and maybe I'm considered more of a casual fan now, but I've been hooked on Twice from the start. Their debut song is still one of my all time kpop songs, and I was glad they moved on from super cutesy to more girl crush :)
momo has the number "64" cause her father was an american football player and that was his jersey number, they already used those numbers for another thing a few years ago.

I think it’s not that they don’t know about the concert & the album (they probably have been recording & rehearsing) but they didn’t know that jyp gonna reveal some spoiler about it through the MV. That’s why they said that they have goosebumps and said “everyone will be so happy to see this!” at the end of the reaction video :)

And Jihyo said that her favorite track was Song No.8 meaning it's not filled with remixes and instrumentals, something just like EWO. The Feels as a single does have an instru + 2 remixes though. TWICE Best girls and TWICE giving us the prom we never had.
OH MY GOODNESS YES YES YES!!! I don't know what say except WOW WOW WOW! Seriously everything about it the Jihyo Visuals and her outfits were Insane and don't get me started on the Vocals, Nayeon went off on the Vocals and her Visuals Wow, Jeongyeon was just STUNNING and did you see that eye brow piercing like Wow, Momo was absolutely Gorgeous and her Vocals just again Wow, Sana went crazy on the Vocals her Rap like What and don't get me started on that wink, Mina just was so Elegant but also Hot at the same time like I don't know and Vocals, Dahyun went crazy on the Rap Vocals were Insane and her Visuals WOW WOW, Chaeyoung WENT OFF the Vocals Rap and her Visuals were just Wow, Tzuyu didn't get as many Lines but her Visuals and Vocals were INSANE! Just everything about it was Crazy and that little MiChaeng Moment was adorable, again just WOW anyways I can't wait for you guys to react to more Twice such as More Music Videos, B - Sides, Live Performances, Covers, Dance Practices, Moments, and of course Ships! I can't wait for more Content from you guys and I hope that you both are doing well and staying safe and healthy!

this is their 6th full album(korean+japanese) and they've never had instrumentals...only solid tracks, 90% new songs...i guess the feels korean version is gonna be in it and, from what i've heard, chaeyoung helped with the lyrics!! i'm still so excited!!!

I think they did knew it beforehand but They didn't expect it to be spoiled in the MV. At first, I was like, 'why are ya'll confuse? It's your own tour???. I was confused so bad HAHAHAHAHAH Maybe they didn't know that it will be announced this early. They must be playing with us. And also they're expected to resign. Which is ngl I'm kind of skeptical about it since I really want them to leave that damn company. But it's still their decision and all I need to do is support them no matter what
Ok so from my perspective, it's just all minundertsthanding. JYPE is a hella big company, they take 3 months or more preparing everything and they of course know there's tour and album. Cause from what I know, Last year EYes Wide Open album's I Can't Stop Me, they already have all the lyrics and everything training on January.
So they of course know everything happening. It's just JYPE didn't tell them that those things will get spoil or reveal in the M/V, ya so this is why they have goosebumps and they have no idea this happened.
They know about them having a concert or tour (that's like planned months before)they just didn't know that the management will announce it through the music video.. i think it was cool idea though.

They did knew about it because everything that Twice does are planned a year ahead and they prepare for everything many many months before the actual release, they were just surprised because of how it was announced they weren’t expecting that the company would spoil that in that way. They even prepared for the feels way before it was released and they didn’t even know when it was going to release. By now Twice might have prepared for 2022 activities too.

In one of the behind the scenes videos, Chaeyoung told one of the other members that the reason her number is 29 is because 2x9=18 (and 18 sounds like the big Korean swear word). lol.
There's a complete story behind the meaning of each TWICE members' chosen jersey numbers. This was from the "Cheer Up" era (where they first showed it). I won't list them all here, but I will say most of them are related to the members' respective birth months and the representation of ONCEs (1) and TWICE (2) 🙂
she was 18 years old when they were asked to choose jersey number. and months later, she realized that 29 also meant Twice is OT9.
@@dubu007 In the video I mentioned, she alluded to the fact that the word for “18” in Korean is used (by slightly mispronouncing it “shibal”) to say the Korean version of f**** and that’s why she liked that number. My ESL kids use it all the time to get away with saying a bad word without saying a bad word (“teacher, I was only saying ‘18,’ not a bad word”). lol.

I think they are aware and obviously know about the album but the concert they aren't expecting that they will have since it's still pandemic. They were always wanting and waiting for this coz they missed their Onces so much. Well the girls are workaholic it has been their dreams to be a performer ever since they started training. And I guess they are now well taken care of because we have not heard any of their artists had been sick or positive with the virus.

Something to consider about album creation is that Twice only records the vocals while the bulk of album creation is done by the songwriters and producers.(although occasionally they help with lyric writing) The girls probably only spend a few days rehearsing their lines and then a maybe a day in the studio. The 9 members are essentially just the face of an entire creative team from songwriters and choreographers to photographers and makeup artists.
TWICE did and do write a number of song lyrics, not simply occasionally, just saying.
The more difficult / tedious parts for them are the MV shooting (3-4 days) / choreography practice and the promotion after the release (usually 2 weeks of hectic schedules, with some show appearances shot a few weeks beforehand).
About the 3rd FULL ALBUM, TWICE never done instrumentals as fillers. Since they are also participating at songwriting it’s unlikely there will be instrumentals.
They know the concert but they didn't expect to be revealed on the end of the MV

don't be sad, TWICE had no experience about prom too, but they did this concept to (like can) 'connect' to their fan, like they can (feel some) experience during MV shoot. (i think they said this in MV reaction or some interview. :P) (ps: no prom in korean, as they said.(in japan too, i thinks, not know about taiwan because Tzuyu didn't say anything about it. :D))
(so, for me, for those who have no prom experience, you can think this is your prom, and i thinks that's 'the feels' that TWICE want to share.)
they work hard, and i think it like some korean motto 'work hard, live well', and in variety show call 'sixth sense' when Jessi told Yoo Jae-suk to have retirement plan (like 'you need some rest') it can see, how he feel. :D and for people who have hectic schedule from time to time, they feel guilty to rest.
