Are people trusting new construction? I was interested in it until I read constant horror stories about them like DR Horton. Do realtors feel good about the new constructions?
This is such a great question and it has inspired me to make a deep dive on new construction, so be on the lookout for that video coming next. In short, yes they are. New Construction sales take up a HUGE share of the real estate market here. I have sold many new construction homes and have strong opinions on those I would encourage my clients to trust, and those to stay clear of. Around what price point were you looking? Which credit report will be checked for Pre-Approval? I'm on the East Coast and Experian is the main one out here. Not sure if it is the same in NV or not. What would be the minimum score for a first-time home buyer to get approved in your opinion? Thanks
Here is a response from my preferred lender, Sandra Mijan: We pull a tri merge credit report, which pulls Trans Union, Experian and Equifax. We take the median score out of those three scores. 620+ preferred.
