Hi, great job on the video. Just wanted to correct one thing: In Canada capital gains are taxes on 50% of the gains. Hence, tax wouldn't be $30 on $100 profit, but rather $15 on $100 profit (30% of 50% of $100 = 0.3*0.5*100)
Starting early is the best way of getting ahead to build wealth, investing remains a priority. Even in a downtrend, the stock market/crypto market has plenty of opportunities to earn a decent payout, with the right skills and proper understanding of how the market works.
@Manuel Andrea Access to good information is what we investors need to progress financially and generally in life. here's a good one and I am grateful. Found her website and it was really impressive
Mrs. *PRISCILLA DIANE AIVAZIAN* really knows her way around trading, it's evident from her deep knowledge of how the market works, and reading signals to perfection, I feel very safe trading with her.
I'm not gonna lie... You are the 1st Punjabi guy jisse Maine personal finance Ke bare me acchi baate Suni Hai.... Idhar GTA me mere Saath ex classmates (mostly Punjabis) bas life enjoy Karne ki hi Baat karte Hai.... Latest iPhone, Mercedes E class, expensive clothes, perfumes... You name it.... Rent bhane Ke paise nai hote Lekin ye Sab shauk Hai... BTW loved your video.... I'm doing almost all the things that you mentioned.... Maxing out RRSP, maxing out TFSA.... Mera emergency fund ka strategy thoda different Hai.... I try to keep 3 months of net salary/ 6 months of absolute expenses in low interest rate savings account (Scotia momentum plus) that way I'm earning little interest (1.75 right now) on that too.... Also I try to maintain 10k balance just for my own peace of mind.
IMPORTANT INFO REGARDING TFSA: Don't calculate your contribution room from when you turn 18 years old if it was before the year you come to Canada. for example: if someone turned 18 in 2009, total contribution room in 2023 will be $88,000. This is what any online TFSA contribution calculator would show. But If someone come to Canada in 2020, then the contribution room is $24,500 even. It starts from the year you come to Canada not from the year someone turned 18. Always check your CRA account to see your total TFSA contribution limit.
Hi bro, this is Vijay, In recent days I'm watching lots of TH-cam Videos, in fact, next month I'm travelling to Canada, honest with you, I watched your couple of Videos, it's mesmerizing and so much informative. Bhai I have few questions? 1st. How to open tfsa account should I have to visit Scotia bank or what ? 2nd. How to expenses of TH-cam income like mic and all ? Do we have to hire an accountant ? 3. Please Make a video on how to invest? Which platform like wealthsimple or any other ? And give a brief and detailed information about stocks, crypto, Amazon, affiliate etc.. Though it’s really informative!
Gursahid very smart but I will say that these life tips are not only applicable in canada but anywhere in the world, after all a penny saved is a penny earned
I don't know how but I had started growing wise in terms of investment and future planning. I started investing a month bake and able to invest $400 till now and learning to invest and growing portfolio. I am hoping someday after finishing my course I will be having atleast some investments done. 😊
Thanks so much Bruh.. I've lost my job in Australia and I've just 4 to 10 he/week to work.. And still I was wasting money everywhere. But now I understand. And I'll go on right way😢.. Please pray for me to get my job hours🥺
I think after excluding ur monthly rent as well as grocery expenses from monthly income one should invest in TFSA acc bcoz that that are necessary expenses. 10:17
Any individual that is a non-resident of Canada who has a valid SIN and who is 18 years of age or older is also eligible to open a TFSA. ( As per Canadian Govt. website ) Only difference is that, there is 1% tax for non-residents.
Ideally, emergency fund needs to be of 12 months. Also, Do your own research before making any financial decision.

Hello 👋
For all who are on Work/Study Permit cannot open TFSA account. TFSA A/c can be open only by Permanent resident. (As per TD Bank Financial Advisor)
Any individual that is a non-resident of Canada who has a valid SIN and who is 18 years of age or older is also eligible to open a TFSA. ( As per Canadian Govt. website ) Only difference is that, there is 1% tax for non-residents.
