I bought mine new in 1978 for around $ 825 or so. I was 16. Great bike. It rolled up11,000 miles with one upper engine overhaul midway through it's life. I noticed that the 185 sticker was missing on the exhaust shield (yellow) and the white flap on the front fender was missing too. They would crack and then break off. Three screws held them on. Mint bike.
Kaplan Cycles New England Motorcycle Museum ... YIKES! And I’m down here complaining in Southwest Georgia that it’s too cold to ride when it gets below 70°... LOL! 😂😂😂
Memories!! I had 74 ts125..great starter bike..👍
Got one just like that (not quite as nice but close) in my garage and while I have much bigger bikes for a local back-road run those old TS's rock!
I’ve heard the 185 is several pounds lighter than the 125 model , these things must be fun little rippers
They had a 100 version that year. The 185 was bigger and heavier. The 125 was prior years, which was heavier. I had one of those also
I bought mine brand new on 1978 for $825

@danaevans3524 Lol. My front fender flap cracked also. I replaced with the 1979 or 1977 full front fender, whichever one was white.
