Hi Gary, I always think that the Northern towns are an interesting mixture of old industries re born and quirky buildings also as in my native Derbyshire. The weather is something we are all tired of now but you are still getting good useage out of your Eriba.👍
Good Vid as usual, some nice food cooked by the Master Chef!! If he's not a Top Chef in a few years time ill be surprised! He likes cooking, so maybe an option, but anyway enjoyed the Vlog as always and look forward to the next one!
Thanks Michael, William has achieved GCSEs this week, One 9, Three 8's, Four 7's, One 6 (Eng Lit). This puts him into the top 5%. 7's or above are considered top marks, of which only 18% in our area have achieved. In London its 28%. If he carries on at this rate with A Levels, he will be going to Cambridge Architect Degree. All down to discipline.
@@whereveraway Hey that's fantastic! if he gets into Cambridge that would be brilliant! Whatever he gets into keep us updated, its nice to see a young lad who is confident and comfortable and enjoying been with his parents! Tbh such a wrench when he goes to Uni, but as long as your around he can drop right back in!
Thanks Michael, yes we will keep you updated. 2 Years off Uni yet though, but he will be coming away with us less and less, as he is looking to get a Saturday job.
@@whereveraway Yeah unfortunately that's what happens, Your job is to prepare him for independence and Adulthood and a fine one your both doing! Its inevitable he will break away, but look on it with pride at what a lovely young guy he has become, im sure he will be close to you both for ever, as you have done the ground work and he will always remember these years! Best Wishes.
Hi Gary spent 4 nights off grid used about 3 kg of gas I.E. £14 An EHU costs an extra £5 or £6 per night so off grid is cheaper We have a 120w portable solar which keep’s battery charged
Hi Graham, this time the weather didn't warrant our 100w solar panel. We could top up the leisure battery by plugging it into the Jackery if needed, but we used so little power, the towing should have topped it back up again.

I agree, the buildings from the Industrial Revolution were built to last. Derbyshire is our favourite County.
Some scary music on the castle tour! 😂
It was a scary place back in the A day.
Please buy William some tongs for when he’s cooking bless him
He is always telling me off for using a steel spoon in the frying pan.
