Thankyou soooo much....video is very simple but informative...you’ve given me the courage to attempt hanging a fireplace suite on the wall.....I can’t keep asking the boys to do everything
Really good explanations here, helped me to understand the differences between them. Thank you SO MUCH for doing this. You have a new subscriber. Thx Woodie!
That solved a mystery - I wondered what the clamp was for next to the intercepting fixings! Wll presented and explained - and like others have said, good to see what's going on on the other side!
would any of these fixings be suitable for supporting a shelf? I was thinking of a shelf 80cm long and 20cm depth, 1.5cm thickness. Using two supports, each support fixed into the plasterboard with 3 screws. Any advice? thanks
I am trying to seal some flaking lead paint in a bathroom. I am trying to figure out how to put drywall on top (or, in this case under) the plaster ceiling. I might have to use a board to keep it in place and then use some kind of anchor. But then it might not be flush with the ceiling and might pull the plaster down over time. Any suggestions?
I am having a problem with a plug that has been pushed out on the other side of a plasterboard while screwing - when I'm trying to remove a screw it is spinning together with the plug that is outside of the wall :/ Can anybody give an idea how to secure this so that the item hanging on two screws is levelled?

Thank you. Very well presented and understandable. The idea of showing what goes on behind the wall ie the expansion etc is brilliant.
Absolutely, one of the best vids on the topic. Great for newbies.
