The launch was a succes!! Haven't felt such trepidation watching a launch in many years! Can't wait for the JWST to start sending images 6 months from now!

Excellent content, and lecture. If I can offer some friendly advice -- please consider using a microphone to speak into (headset, usb mic, etc.). They are cheap to buy, easy to use, and offer a great increase in audio quality.
Great session to know JWST, curious to know, which part of the telescope determines which spectrum it can operate like UV, IR etc, is that based on the mirrors or detectors in those telescope
On Hubble what's Hubbles lifespan capacity? Also last I heard Hubble was on its way to the edge of our solar system, so where approximately or precisely is Hubble in December 2021?
Thought this was suppose to be about the Webb Space Telescope, wished we would of seen more pictures from Webb , instead we got a bunch from Hubble... Alexandra says Hubble way more then Webb???
Well you will be waiting for a long time before they ever let you or us see those pictures. If they ever do they will probably be for scientists eyes only. Watch

How halo local circular orbit is maintain. Without any gravity well inside that circle the jwst will go in thrust direction.
