This is a truly blessed teaching. Mike manages to articulate so brilliantly, in words at once deeply personal and yet universal, a truth about God's loving mercy that is so important. We have so many wounded souls in the world today who are just crying out for love and forgiveness - the love and forgiveness that our God offers us all - and crying out for people to articulate that love and make it real. We need to share this video with all those who need that forgiving love right now.
On October 11th, it will be my 6th Tenth Avenue North concert.
Thank you so much tenth avenue north yesterday I said some mean words and almost got kicked off the volleyball team I started listening to christian music again and I have lived in regret and darkness and this encourages me to come out into the light and speak unity not division

It's really interesting how these feelings (bitterness, anxiety, regret) are all subtle (or not so subtle) doubts of God's goodness. When we allow ourselves to be reminded of His truth, these feelings suddenly don't have quite as much power, and we are free in His great love.

I can’t imagine the level of pain and regret you must’ve felt for not being there for your family all that time. But praise God that he was able to take that and turn it into something beautiful. This song reminds me that every time I fall back into my dark desires, He is still greater than all of it, no matter how much I regret my mistakes. So thank you Mike. We cannot go back & redo the Past. We cannot change what we did & said before. Regret is getting stuck in the delusions of "What If". What we can do is learn from those mistakes & missteps and then, moving forward, DO BETTER. We cannot get back the time we missed, the birthdays, the games, the quiet moments. What we can do though is BE PRESENT moving forward. Every choice has consequences. Every choice has a cost. Decide what you're willing to accept, what you're willing to pay, & live your Life accordingly. Whether your journey involves a spiritual faith component or not, we need to spend our Time wisely. We only have so much of it & once it is gone we will never get it back.

I love all of your messages and your ministry...but I'm honestly struggling with the statement in this video that Jesus being crucified was a mistake. I had to replay it several times to make sure I heard it correctly. It's really bothering me, lol. I thought He surrendered to the Lord's plan in the Garden of Gethsemane to be the perfect Lamb slain for our sins so that we could receive eternal life through His sacrifice. Jesus is the only One is is worthy... there is no other. I see His life and death on earth as an intentional act of love.
