Glad you liked it! Great review
🙏🏾🙌🏾
Beautiful piece, but way too expensive, IMO. For the price I would have liked it if they'd brought in some of the improvements that the missing link convoy did, chief among them the removal of the partsforming for the hands. Even as a kid I thought that was stupid and annoying to have to remove his fists.
I'm shocked it doesn't come with the trailer. If it came with the trailer roller and the other components, it would have made a little bit more sense
@@TMan978 Yeah for sure. I guess they're testing the waters with this release. Anyway thanks for the chill video.
Thank you for everything you do good sir!
You see my Care Bear on IG?
@TMan978 heck yeah I did. 😂
Hope you'll have a good day
I hope a 3rd party company can remold this figure and offer this for a fraction of the price..
4th party
😂😂 what a Joke of a figure for that price. Ain't no 🤬 way. Enjoy ✨️😅🍿
Also welcome ✨️😁🍿
You hatin cuz you ain'tin got it
He could have bought one
I'mma start calling you 'Long Stacks'
That will be a lie
I hope they decide to make more bc i need one.
Good luck

If say 40 bucks tops. Sure they had to engineer it to work with their own tooling, and working with die cast isn’t the same as plastic, but it’s tiny. Even with the display box gimmick, come on.
Well at least the tires are rubber.
Cool. I didn't think that Hasbro allowed 3rd party companies to make Transforming Transformers. When did that change?
Pity they couldn't get out of the way so McFarlane could make Marvel Legends 😁
Edit: Wait, $80??? Barkeep, I'll have what Mattel are having!
I think McFarlane are ultimately inferior articulation and even accessory wise so I don't even want that to happen. Most DC multiverse don't come with extra hands or head sculpts. I see they're finally starting to now after years of begging but yeah. They still don't even have thigh swivel
@@TMan978 They do have thigh swivel, just not an ugly cut like ML. They're bigger, cost less and are made of much better quality plastic. I don't personally care about accessories as it's just more crap I have to store. Other than head sculpt quality, I think McFarlane is superior in every way.
@gmon78 The thigh swivel is not functional and makes posing less fun for me as I usually just have to settle for what it has. Several figures will have excellent places to hide a swivel like they did on Mortal Kombat Scorpion and they don't do it.
I will admit sometimes the sculpting and feel of the plastic is better but when I try to pose them I am often frustrated
@@TMan978 Heat the thigh area up with a hairdryer a little and you'll get much more range.
Great review. It does look great. No doubt about it. Besides the price, the only downside I see is it is mostly made out of diecast. And as G1 collectors or people that grew up with G1, when diecast parts break, they stay broken. Can't really switch parts like you can do with modern toys.
With the way Optimus is designed, I don't see anything breaking. In my experience it wasn't the diecast breaking it was just the overall design of G1 figures. The only thing I can see happening with this toy is it becoming a loose mess.
You do realize this is not to be played with. Either decides how you want to display it and leave it. You shouldn't compare this with original toys which is made to be played with. May as well compare $300 Autoart diecast model 1/18 scale car with old hot wheels.
@shogunfox7141 imo, every Transformers toy before the year 3 (1986) was not designed to be a toy. They were designed to be collectible but Hasbro sold them as toys. None of them were originally designed with any normal play in mind. The only thing they did was make the launchers ineffective in the US.
Like I said earlier, the diecast content has nothing to do with the overall design. I don't see it breaking easier than the original. It's pretty much the exact same thing but shrunk down.
Of all the originals, Optimus is probably the least likely to break besides those tiny pegs in his wrist.
@@TMan978 I disagree with this. Collecting toys back then was not a thing. And the original toys were from the diaclone/microman line which the Japanese heavily marketed to kids. The functions were to have drivers in them hence a lot of those early toys had seats and functioning doors and compartments. I think collecting really exploded when the beanie babies came onto the market. You might try to make a case for Cabbage Patch kids, but people were just grabbing those for their kids....just like the movie Jingle All the Way.
@williammckinley1035 What I meant specifically is they were definitely 100% not designed in a way to accommodate constant play. They weren't designed in a way with thoughts of kids dropping them.
Basically, full of diecast or not, parts could just sheer off or crack because of they're designed
Nice
You right
Buy 2 masterpiece ko's and have more fun.
But they will be remarkably different and not going for the same thing 🤷🏿♂️
✌🏼🤦🏻♂️Yo! 👍🏼👍🏼
You made it
Is it worth it at the price point?
Listen to the last 4 minutes of my video again
That was how much? 80???? I am sorry but you are getting played with this.
Lol. Not me but I appreciate my gift. I did let it be known that that price is nuts.
