Why would a patient want to flip over their tray table? Often this is used to keep personal items nearby and the patient usually has very little personal space. It would be helpful to add USB charging ports for patient devices.
Why have a pressure sensitive floor? Wouldn't the bed weight sensor be enough to detect a fall? It would be more useful to have sensors in the acutal bed.
The computer station should not face away from the patient. This makes assessment more difficult and it makes the nurse turn their back to the patient.
Entertainment and simulation of environments outside of the hospital would be very important. The lights , simulated sky, and sanitizing UV lights are brilliant ideas.
The overhead patient lift should run perpendicular to the bed rather than parallel to it. Traveling over the bed requires traveling a longer distance. Additionally, if the idea is to transfer the patient to a chair at the side of the bed, facing the same direction as the bed, there is less room for maneuvering.

Li-fi instead of wi-fi or microwave oven. UV lights as defence against germs and bacteria. Natural light and air. Less noise. Sounds of nature birds, river stream or spring. And all built in modern house with Tesla medical currents, magnetic therapy. These are just some of suggestions/ ideas.

I just want more outlets in the wall. There are never enough outlets for the cell phone, the cpap machine, the bed itself, the IV pole, the pulse-ox monitor, the air mattress, the sequential compression devices, the advanced patient controls, etc, etc...

Who's going to pay for all of this? We can't afford to stay in the hospital now. Imagine what it will be in 2020.

Just stayed in the hospital in 2022 - it’s nicer than they used to be, but a far cry from this 😂
