I think this is the first time I've ever squirmed while watching a teardown.
That was horrific. you vivisected a Furby. At least have the humanity to take the batteries out first!
I really enjoy Furbies, but at the same time I really enjoy seeing how they work on the inside. I've personally skinned dozens of the 1998 versions, just to get them back into working condition (or to circuit bend...) This version does soooo much more than the original version! Thanks for being willing to skin it for all to see. Hopefully you'll put it back together to let all these upset commenters sleep better at night ;)

I took apart and refurb the Playskool model of Teddy Ruxpin with help of workshop 1138
Reason I don't like this is because it makes me sad to see a toy basically get destroyed. But I do accept the fact that others are curious.

I have taken the fur if my purple Furby connect kinda. I would take it off completely only to fix it. But i would never rip her apart.

That video was eerily disturbing...
Back ground music is seriously over powering guys. Was trying to here what you guys were saying when you were discussing it and couldn't hear most of what you were saying or much of any of what the new Furby sounded like. Also, would it be possible to have Limor complete the tear down by talking about and showing what parts it's made of? I'd love to find out what the screens are that they use for the eyes, those look really great.
I also wonder what the white thing is on the Furby's chest,right below it's mouth, that looks like it moves when Furby makes noise. The one person pointed to it at 4:48 and it sounded like they had commented about it but again, couldn't hear what was being said.

It's kinda interesting to see a modern furby that looks bigger than the original but on the inside it's really only about the same size. (Aside from the ears)

Ermmm actually 🤓🤓🤓, the retro furby on the side is a furby baby, either a sheep color or a curly color 🤓🤓🤓, a furby baby is much more smaller than the ORIGINAL 1998 furby
I was looking for a connect skinning guide for customization purposes and this fit the bill, but really it was awkward to watch. Removing the batteries would have made it easier for both the person doing it and the watcher lol

I'm a big fan of teardown/skinning robotic part toys and animatronics. Always fun to see what's on the inside and see the mechanisms.
What you need is a contest. A modified & augmented Bennie baby!
The Furby baby sounds so cute I love old Furby!
I really like how the video goes from "with a pair of small tweezers we carefully remove the little loop that keeps the fur in place" to "WE GET 'EM SCISSORS WE CUT 'ER UP" in little more than one minute. :D

Where did you get it?
I'm not really sure why on earth you would take the thing apart with the batteries still in whilst you could not see the electronics, would have expected better from Adafruit. At least until the electronics were fully exposed and you wouldn't short anything. A lot of young impressionable novices watch your channel.

IKR, Furbies Matter
So instead of a moving plate like on previous models the top half of the body moves. And it looks a bit different skinned compared to other furbys where they were all really just a furby boom underneath the fur (e.g. Furbacca)
Thumbs down for this haphazard butchering of a working toy. Careful disassembly of one that's broken in order to fix it would be more constructive and informative.
