I worked at Pizza Hut in Greencastle, Ind. So many great memories. We had one of the first Super Mario Bros arcade games.. so cool, and the reason I am a life time gamer.
They even have the $9.99 lunch buffet! We will be going back, and Steve will be eating as much pizza as he can fit! He wants to keep eating until they tell him he has to leave. 🤣🤣
A few years ago on the way to Florida we stopped at a Pizza Hut that was still the old style. I do not know if it was this one or not. But it definitely brought back some memories of my childhood. I wish they never changed it. I like the old style much better.
I used to go to Pizza Hut in the 60's and 70's. It always smelled so good in there. Get a pitcher of beer and a pizza and you're set! The red soda cups were fun too for a soda. I think there's still one here in the Tampa Bay area. I think it's still there in Pinellas Park. I'm in Clearwater. Been here all my life.
@AmericanConstellation nice! We have family in Largo! It really brought back some great childhood memories for both of us and also created some new memories for our kids! Thank you so much for watching and Stay Fabulous!
@@florida_fabulous I used to go to one on Eastbay Drive in Largo. I think there was one on West bay drive as well. You made me hungry. Now I want to get a pizza.
Great vid and family! My Pizza Hut memories are from the late '70s. Now for the bad part: I just spent over an hour looking up "Classic" Pizza locations. I'm in the Denver area and the closest one is in Landers, Wyoming. If I don't take the interstate, it is 371 miles away. Now for the good part: The non-Interstate part (well, you have to take a little) is all through the Rocky Mountains of CO & WY. Also, Landers has a FREE campground on the south side of the city. And I can come back through Dinosaur National Monument and then Steamboat Springs. For a three day solo motorcycle trip. Already put in on the calendar for sometime in June. (It's a good excuse for a ride) Thank you!
I think this is a great idea!💡 Yes, any excuse is a good excuse for a solo ride, especially when it is through some gorgeous scenery! Make sure you take some pics and be sure to tag us on Instagram since we kinda inspired this trip for you! Thanks for watching, stay fabulous!!
When I was born in the late 2000s, my family and I went to a road trip to Disney World we discovered that there was still a 90s Pizza Hut so we decided to go to that location and it my experience there was actually good! But since my family moved down to Southwest Florida I only went there twice. But since I’m graduating soon I might go there again in the future!
Omg!! Definitely a blast from the past and same, I’m 40 so it’s been awhile since actually sat down to eat at a Pizza Hut. I had forgotten about Book It. Going to sign up my son because he’s a #1 pizza fan, so hopefully it will motivate him to read more.
Being from Indiana, my Pizza Huts back home offered marinara, nacho cheese, and garlic butter, to dip my breadsticks or cheese bread in. When I moved to Florida, the only offer was marinara and they looked at me like I had three heads when I asked if nacho cheese or garlic butter were available. What was your experience? Is it still that way?
Nacho cheese and garlic butter!!? 😋 I wish I knew to ask for something other than marinara! I would have loved some garlic butter for the cheesy bread! It may also depend if it is a full store or one of the combo locations.
my kids enjoyed that book it club perk program. I had 6 kids and we would have the kids all read during summer. In fall, the 4 that were reading would save up the points. We took advantage and registered the kids at several huts, so we could hand out the points to some of the kids on the fall soccer team. Best scorer, best stopped goal, best overaall player etc. Frankly it made for some excellent after game pizza parties. I personally miss the old buffet they used to do for lunch

Used to love going there as a kid in the seventies, thanks for the nostalgic memory.

Yes!! Sign him up! Nothing motivates like pizza. 🤣 Honestly, it was the best time. So nostalgic in all the good ways!
Sooo missed
It was such a great feeling going back! Very nostalgic.
If you like veggie pizza, try The Lou from Lou Malnati's. They are located in IL and they also ship all across the US. 😀
@@chicagoguy81 seems like a long time to have to wait when I order a pizza 🤣🤣

Not classic enough for my Pizza Hut memories. Give me my personal pan pizza for reading a book, thanks Barbara Bush!
That’s exactly what we were there for. For our daughter to get her personal pan pizza for the book it program.
