NMF bouwtraject: de evolutie van de panfluit

Het Nationaal Muziekinstrumenten Fonds (NMF) is een spannend bouwtraject gestart in samenwerking met Flentrop Orgelbouw om de metalen panfluit verder te ontwikkelen, naar het idee en initiatief van 'Panfluiter des Vaderlands' Matthijs Koene.
In deze video volgen we de bouw van de eerste versie in de werkplaats van Flentrop in Zaandam, Nederland. De metalen pijpen worden gebogen, de tinnen koppen worden gegoten en het unieke stemmechaniek wordt gedraaid en vastgezet.

The Dutch Musical Instruments Foundation (NMF) has started an exciting construction project in collaboration with Flentrop Organ Building to develop the metal panpipe, based on the idea and initiative of 'Master of the Panpipes' Matthijs Koene.
In this video we follow the construction of the first version in Flentrop's workshop in Zaandam, the Netherlands. The metal pipes are bent, the pewter heads are cast and the unique tuning mechanism is polished and fixed.
