The Meerut South RRTS station commenced passenger operations linking Meerut more closely to Delhi. This new addition means 42 km of the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS corridor is now functional, including nine stations from Sahibabad in Ghaziabad to Meerut South.
The full 82-km long corridor from Delhi to Meerut is expected to be operational by June 2025. By the end of this year, when it reaches the center of Meerut city, commuters will be able to travel from Meerut to Sahibabad in Ghaziabad in just 45 minutes, a substantial reduction from the current bus travel time of over two hours.
The new RRTS line significantly impacts life in the region by enabling people to live in Meerut and work in Delhi, Noida, or Ghaziabad. This development is also expected to boost the real estate market, particularly in the previously underdeveloped areas east of Ghaziabad.

They need to increase operation hours, rrts should be operational till 11 pm. People should prefer #rrts over #Bus , Personal #Car 🚗, OLA / Uber etc etc. #RRTS will reduce pollution / traffic jam in #Delhi NCR region

Nearest metro station to RRTS ghaziabad is Shaheed Sthal. Aap apne ghar se Shaheed Sthal pohonch jao fir RRTS se you'll take 30 mins to reach South Meerut. Wahan se you can take auto to your centre. Aap ghar se 3 hours pehle nikalna pls. Keep buffer time too.
