I just realized in the conversation the yandere chan is eavesdropping on, senpai's dream was actually real! In an earlier build back, senpai wasn't even implemented to walk or do any animations, so you put him under a cherry tree in the beginning of the entrance of the school!

Senpai’s dream could mean that he is feeling helpless/worthless. He cannot do anything about what’s happening in the environment around him and the only thing he could do is witness everything as it passes by.
Possibly, but I'm pretty sure it's a reference to the original build of YanSim, where Senpai stood in one single spot in front of a tree in front of Akademi and didn't move around (kind of like Rival-Chan, who can be seen in her eternal prison at 8:36)

That’s an amazing idea! They do the same in Fate/Grand Order where they have simple explainations so some mechanics or character traits that u might’ve not known, and in the intro loading screen they have one of the character’s backstories displayed (since they’re all historical figures so it makes sense to include their real life stories)

I can't believe how genius the school is for placing an OUTLET near a WATER FOUNTAIN.
Shadow Knight a water fountain needs to be plugged in. So by default it would be near an outlet.
You could have loading screens disguised at two students gossiping to each other. The gossip could be actual tips on playing the game.

On the checklist, I saw how you were gonna add a “Physical Education Phase” for each day. Maybe if one of the activities in that phase was Gymnastics (for example since it’s a very competitive activity and usually many students are scored for how well there routine is), we could sabotage the current rival by maybe placing a dumbbell and have them trip and fall. Thus, lowering the reputation and embarrassing them

So people were telling me the true ending of the game is where senpai doesn’t want to be with Ayano, so Ayano breaks his mind and forces him to be with her. And I know there will probably be different endings too. But I feel like there should be an ending where senpai actually wants to be with Ayano. It would make the games ending much more satisfying (in my opinion) but yeah, it’s just a random thought

When I started playing Yandere simulator I didn't watch any videos. I didn't even know where the weapons where or any clubs. I went to Kokona and i accepted the task without knowing what to do, I trained a few days. I went to do Hazu kashibuchi's task (sewing room) And I accepted it. He was at the lockers while I accepted it. I went to get a cola and then hurried back. He was nowhere to be found. I didn't know his routine so I completely walked past the sewing room. Good game.
I was searching for Osana for 3 hours, I didn't know how to run, laugh, crawl, get a weapon, about any of the debug commands, or the fact that clubs other than Cooking, Drama, Occult, and Sports existed. (I'm glad there's an Art and a Science Club though)

One thing that other games have done to inform new players of game mechanics is it shows the players tips while the game is loading. This way, new players can quickly learn how the game is played through the tips to eventually get a basic knowledge and understanding of the game and how it functions. I think Yandere Sim, with all the different ways of killing, could use a tip screen. To make it more unique, it could be like her thoughts. Maybe a tip for cleaning blood off a knife would be like “I could use drinking fountains to wash blood off of a knife” or something simple like that. It’d make the player more immersed and be very helpful
nah, the tips get really annoying. let the player think of these tasks on their own, and if they need help, they do the schemes thing.
Hit just make it an option to disable tips in setting so experienced players don’t have to deal with them
Maybe the tips could be based on what stats you have? As an extra bonus to increase your stats permanently?
LadyJuse maybe they could also be rival specific so that it can tell you the personality type of your current rival and some general tips about them
Or maybe like a small cutscene, during a class something gets dirty and they mention going to the drinking fountain to wash it off.

YanSim isn't undertale or whatever, characters don't know what the player has done to them in their previous "lives". Kokona is a normal student (with a crush on senpai and engages in compensated dating). To us, she's a test dummy for new eliminations
@@wilfweNightsky - Yanderedev did consider making Kokona a DLC boss once he's completed the game, with the theme of multiple timeline shenanigans and being cursed to relive each death in those timelines. He's also considered her as the tutorial rival, teaching the player how to murder as part of theatre practice. Either way, she's more than a test dummy

If you add a paranoid student personality that could make some aspects of the game slightly more difficult. Like they could take their food with them when they go investigate or they don't investigate at all but run away instead

If you're on 'auto-pilot', then no, you may very well not notice a power strip, or that it's damaged, or that there's a puddle (since puddles are clear, not bright blue).

I’ve read some of the comments and they suggest weather, I think that’s a great idea! So when it’s raining it would be impossible to set someone on fire, because the match/clothes would be wet, and when it’s really hot outside people will drink out of the water fountains more often.
Just some ideas? What do you think? (I mean if someone ever sees this, that is 😅)

If you want to make the gate an elimination method for a rival(or just harder in general), the gate should by default be able to sense objects while it’s shutting. Yandere-Chan would have learn how to deactivate the sensor(maybe there’s some wiring or switch of some sort or she has to learn how to possibly via learning in a club) before eliminating the student.
