I always pause a video right away because of dang-ass autoplay shenanigans, but because this video starts instantly it's like "Grim Reaper 2 has an attack" (pause) and just, like, in-context that's really funny, like that's the whole obscure hidden fact.
I saw his DM on my first Critical run back on PS3. I kept dying and at some point played it too cautious until I discovered a new move (at least new for me).
In KH1 your game could crash if you used Simba’s finishing move on the right kind of slope. In front of the cave of wonders entrance in Agrabah there’s a hill that it activates easily on, it happens all the time in the speedrun. (It’s for sure on PS2 & PS3, but may have been patched in later versions)
Its been years since I have watched a Kingdom Hearts 2 video that told me things I didn't know, except the skateboard trick with Valor form, that one I knew but everything was news to me. Have my sub buddy, ya earned it.
Not sure how that's huge. It seems more useless than useful. If you accidentally use a different spell, that's on you lol. Just have the spells you use most on the shortcuts.
@asra-5180 it can be very helpful for a casual player. Often, people want to make sure they have MP for Cure. If Square didn't think it could help certain players, they wouldn't have added it.
@@asra-5180 I only ever use spells through shortcuts because it means I don't have to take my eyes off combat to look at the HUD. If I can have a sound cue that tells me my MP is down to cure only level I know I always have Leaf Bracer I-Frames available instead of overusing reflect and then having no option left till MP is recharged. Amount of times I've died on Critical due to accidentally overusing my MP is shameful :') Also if I'm not mistaken an Ether will restore MP to max if you aren't in MP charge so you can keep much higher mana efficiency
I've put like at least 1000 hours into KH2 rando and there was a surprising amount of these I didn't know! For that you definitely earned my sub, hope to see more cool stuff like this soon!
@@coreysg9 Maybe somewhere around 100? lol. It wasn't perfectly implemented when I started playing on PCSX2 and the first year of Epic. 🤔🤔🤔 Reverse is super sick though, and this video made me want to pick up the rando in general again!
It sounds good in theory, but the damage you do with Limit Form in mob fights isn't worth it in my opinion. Much better to just use Master/Final Genie with Magnet to actually do damage.
@@coreysg9 it could at least be a head start. My master form would always finish after reaching the 3 dancers face and I would die or a lancer would decide to randomly attack me.
Thanks! I was happy with it, although the stars around Riku could be better at conveying being knocked, and the Kingdom Hearts II text needs to be changed to KH2, so it's more readable...
Hostile Program isn't actually a heartless, so you gain no XP from that. Scar in theory should give you XP, but as you said, that's not something you'd ever come across in vanilla.
That's partly a reason why I started this series, there's only so many times you can hear 'DiD yOu KnOw WoOdY aNd BuZz WeRe A cUt SuMmOn', and not go mad.
It's not faster to freeze him, as Valor Form does more damage in less time. It is, however, a VERY risky backup you can use if you mess up with Valor very early.
Fucking i see this video, and I see the title. I'm like, this dude is probably lost. Realize from watching CJ i recognize your name. Oh, it's fucking Corey. I'm about to learn something. So happy I was wrong, sick vid.
@@coreysg9 I wish it was that simple or else the ReMix versions would have reverb too. The Dolby stuff is just for surround sound during cutscenes. Reverb uses the ps2 sound hardware and they didn't bother remaking it in software for the ports, it's a shame.

I’ve been playing this game my whole life and didn’t know any of these existed. Good to see there are still things to learn
The Storm Rider RC kill to demonstrate the Wisdom level was perfect 👌
Glad you appreciated it!
the shan yu glitch is mindblowing
He was more mindblown
There's also a really rare Twilight Thorne attack almost no one knows about... Just keep fighting it without defeating it until you see it :)
Good shout, already on the list, though!

You need to make a Facts and Glitches for KH1!
2:40 Truly a "Oh damn!" Moment XD
That was not too far from my actual reaction. It took me a longgg time to hit the limit frame perfectly, and I was surprised when it actually worked!

2:40 captain... captain no don't open it! Captain you'll doom us al-
Nah, it's actually Sora's fault. He wasn't there to open the chest, so the bomb exploded in the chest and killed the game 😔
Reenactment of opening Luxu's box (colorized)
It feels so weird without music lol
2:31 Look at Sora showing us how it's done! He's asserting his dominance so hard he's T-posing in two places at once!
So that's what happened when I was going through their own critical mode for the first time.. I had no idea what was going on... Neat
Can’t wait to see what you come out with next! Loving the Kingdom Hearts content.
Currently watching this blindfolded and with earplugs so I can't react to it
The MP bar charge option is HUGE, how did I not know this

God I love KH menu sounds.
I am once again reminded, that Yachi Nanase is the god of KH2
1.5k subscribers, guess your goal is by far achieved haha
It's crazy to me the grim reaper attack is even on here. Didn't think that was even rare
The only thing I knew from that was the Zombie Riku, because this happened in my level 1 run
