I knew it! The mirror reminded me when one of my friends at Uni decided to spice up a dull Friday afternoon, when the department was empty, by putting up HP signs everywhere, such as "room 9 3/4" between room 9 and 10 (more towards 10, of course) and the chamber of secrets warning in the men's bathroom (and there were more). Nobody removed them for the entire semester, the cleaning personnel and the faculty never noticed them. And after all this story, I can freely come out (as if it were a secret) as a Ravenclaw. Obviously.

So, practically, the chamber was in the women's room and in the men's room. So woke.
Love this! Hate when people do themes but make it really corny and over the top but you really made it Harry Potter without looking like party city or something. The subtly in some areas definitely made it way better!!!!
You should get an older, parchment style piece of paper, and type the first couple paragraphs of Book 1, and roll it onto the type writer. A little Easter egg! Also your Dollar store is awesome. Ours always just has a bunch of trash. 😒
I saw on your Instagram that you said this was the video you were most proud of/the best one you’ve done, and omg...I love all your videos but this one really was exceptional. I LOVE spooky season. It‘s my fave time of the year just because I love everything that‘s creepy and has to do with the supernatural. And the fact that your decoration is Harry Potter themed makes it 1000x better. I also decorated my room like that but I keep it all year around, because I‘m such a big Potterhead ❤️😅

I'm loving how this look comes together - so many great details! If you want the candle look without the fire hazard, consider those battery-powered candles. I've collected a few sets over the years: tea lights, votives, pillars, etc... and they're soooooo convenient! Many even come with a 'timed' option, so you can turn them on & they'll automatically shut off after so many hours.
Awesome decor, we did this same theme 2 years in a row for our kids Halloween party. Now I am taking it all to my classroom at school to redecorate my classroom to make it more me...more literary (my room used to be the science lab and is decorated as such). Great job!!
This is so cool!! I love the glass front cabinet, it reminds me of the description of the ones in the Black house at the start of OOTP. And the wall hanging looks like a painting where the occupant has just stepped out for a moment. This makes me so excited for Halloween!!

try a curtain around the library tapestry! like hang a curtain rod above it and have the curtains beside it, that way it'll look more like a window, or at least more put together! this all looks FANTASTIC xx

I am working on a Hogwart's Common Room where I am putting my Harry Potter/Fantastic Beast collections and since I don't have wall space (wall to wall bookcases) I have a couple of wall tapestries bought from Ebay that I am covering the front of my bookcases with. I want a Common Room/student room look. I am collecting items a student would have in her room and you are giving me some new ideas. I don't have enough blameless candles for instance. Halloween is a great time to find stuff.
The Pixies inside the bird cage idea was BRILLIANT!!! Although I disagree, I think the simplicity of the dining room was a total success.
