I love watching Scottie play mostly because it seems like he can hole out from anywhere. I really think if his putting only gets better from here, he could be on track to enter the GOAT debate. Golf is golf though so no guarantee he will continue in this form. In the end, no one will ever dominate like Tiger did. Also this video was very high quality and nicely done, I’m surprised you aren’t a bigger channel.
I don’t think anyone will ever dominate this sport ever again like tiger did but if Scottie keeps up this play and I agree with the putting then he will definitely enter another stratosphere.
It seems like your views are truly stagnant in golf and LIV is really revolutionary and it will be the future golf. 54 holes and shotguns is just nice for the fans watching and hanging out in the golf course.
I understand it's refreshing but I personally will never watch LIV just because it's owned by people who don't believe in basic human rights. The competition is also way too top heavy and they fail to invest in the younger generation. On the pga you can really earn your spot from nothing by just scoring well, on the other hand LIV just buys out the ones who are willing to take the money to leave the pga
And it's so good to have shotgun start on LIV!!! Just imagine at one of the Majors this year on Sunday, the 1st half of the players tee off in perfect conditions and one of them who is 7 shots off the leader, goes out and shoots a 63. Now one of your beloved PGA-golfers, say Scottie, is the leader and he tees off on Sunday leading the tournament with a few players 2/3 shots behind. But the weather takes a turn after a couple holes and it starts raining with terrible side-winds and 2nd half of the field that teed off later all suffer because of the conditions. Scottie, being one of the better golfers does the best he can do in the conditions and he shoots a respectable 73...but he looses the Major with 3 shots! Does that sound fair to you? Shouldn't the golfer that wins be the best golfer...not the golfer that was lucky enough to tee off at the right time...? Shotgun starts make a tournament fair for all the players because they play in the same conditions...easy as pie.
Why are all top sports trying to reduce game times? check the numbers with baseball now. Golf has more young ppl coming thru than any time in history and shotgun reduces the day by half. 54 holes will also be the norm soon (Majors 72) ridiculous stuffy things like shorts MUST go too, its 2024 and other sports will take our young fans
