No it wasn't 🙄 it was never BOUGHT. So therefore was never shown. They're not just gonna show one episode of a series that isn't even bought yet 🙄🤷🏼♀️
Seeing as how "Run Buddy Run" aired on CBS in the 66-67 season, and this was produced in 1966, it is entirely possible that this was the actual pilot with "Run Buddy Run" being the final product. Often times, a network will buy a pilot based on the premise, but will make changes in the cast, etc. before the series is totally greenlit.
thanks for posting! What fun!
LOVE IT! Thank you!!
Run Buddy Run had Bruce Gorden the ultimate tv gangster. They couldnt compete with that.
Paul Frees narrating. :)
this pilot was filmed in 1966 but only in 1970 was aired on NBC. And Marilyn is 😍

I see Uncle Leo from Seinfeld (Len Lesser) at the festivities and later as the caregiver.
What a terrific series this would have been!!!
ADAM KEEFE. Charming man who appeared on Mike Douglas.
It took forever to get to know Uncle Leo.
This is the same plot as run buddy run. Both Fugitive inspired i suppose.
Someone actually thought this would sell??? Awful.
A blatant rip-off of Run, Buddy, Run produced by Universal TV.
And when is a rip off not blatant?
@@sclogse1 When it's subtle. This one is blatant.
