1hr ad is not an ad, it's a video. Those ones annoy me honestly, I just let them run for 5min. I sent a query to google, this discourages viewers to watch ads, my honest view as a consumer. We pay for data/wifi, those people should not waste creators' chances of earning from ads. Google responded saying they are looking into. I want to hear their view on this. The thing is Google itself has an option to block an ad you do not like but they never block them or sometimes take long to block them. Blocking allows them to run an alternative ad, rather than when you skip at a point where there is no next ad.
I fully agree with you and it is unfair to expect someone to wait for an hour especially if they need to use that phone. I feel like they are sabotaging creators
