Worth the wait for the sunny parts. Beautiful chapel. We loved seeing the old photos. What a great luxury hotel it would have made. Shame they tore it down. Very interesting Rich.
Hi there Rich. I'm a new subscriber ! Love your video. Thankyou for giving us an insight to the Royal Victoria Hospital. For you, it must be a very nostalgic & very humbling visit as you mentioned your Grandmother use to work there, bless her. The architecture of this hospital is incredible and awesome. It was a stunning Hospital in its time. I was so sad to learn from other videos that the very much no longer used Hospital had a fire back in 1962? It was quite a serious and extensive fire😥 By 1966 the building on inspection posed a serious risk of collapsing so a fair amount? was demolished along with a lot of history.🤦♀️ I'm very passionate & interested in old uk hospitals especially old architecture! That maybe due to the fact I have worked in hospitals for the last 50 yrs!!!! Still do!!! My children & I came down to Netley for the day, in the late 1980's to view the beautiful Chapel but by the time we got round to viewing ( playing with the children & having a picnic!!) it it was closed It will make way for another visit I'm sure!!!:-) I wish you well, Rich. I look f/w to seeing more of your videos. Seeing the undertaking of the specialist work on the Chapel is beautifully progressing well:-)
Rob Haresign Thanks for watching Rob.... It is an amazing place... I wonder if My Nan and your granddad ever worked together.. thanks for watching and commenting.
Cool video. If I may make a suggestion, you can get a really cheap handheld stabilizer for ~$30USD and would really improve the walking shots a bit with some practice.
Hi Spencer and welcome... Thanks for your advice. i have tried a couple of stabilizers but both were no good. I had a steadi cam for a couple of months..I sent that back. Not found one I really like yet.. I will continue my hunt. Thanks for taking the time to watch my vids
I have found a couple on that beach, I need to travel a few more miles along the beach to the Jurassic coast there are loads there. I will be making a video when I go there. Thanks for watching Brian
