[SHOT Show 2019] Accuracy International's ASR Entry and Commercial Sale

- Accuracy International has brought their ASR entry rifle to the commercial market in the United States for civilians to purchase. Initially, there is a collector's Deployment Kit that will cost $19,544 and be sold in a limited edition.
A couple of features have changed about AI's newest precision rifle. AR pistol grips have been installed, a new safety switch has been added through the ASR program, in addition to the addition of a mounting rail so that the rifle can be mounted on tripods with the Really Right Stuff mount, going directly to the rifle instead of to a Picatinny rail.

Too bad they didn't receive the ASR contract. That went to Barrett with their MRAD (MK21) which is 8 years old and should have been the PSR back when Remington was awarded the contract. Glad to see them get it. I like AI, but the MRAD is way simpler and meets the ASR needs for half the price. (and USA made)

yeah but those cheap cars won't have the attention to detail on each individual part that this rifle has. There is a reason AI makes the best rifles in the world, considering how much money goes into small arms, that is not a small feat.
