I watched the show with my mom and it was a way we bonded. After we watched that episode we went and skipped instead of walking to go get A&W for dinner. I have never seen my mom watch more than 3 episodes of a show in one sitting but we watched 2 seasons in 1 Saturday truly and incredible show

Hate hate the character of Violet. She’s like if Christy kept up her hatred of Bonnie instead of them patching up and growing as people as the series continued

@@carriel9954 it seemed like the writers gave up improving Violet or Roscoe, but I was happier when they were gone from the show. The main group was far more interesting
I wouldn't say I hated Cristy, but I did find her annoying sometimes, not because of how she treated Bonnie (she sometimes deserved it) but because she could be whiney about the littlest things. The show was just as funny and interesting without her in it, though, which might say something. Adam, Tammy, and Jill were great additions.

Bonnie's job interview scenes were a masterclass in comedy acting.
When I first started watching this show, I couldn’t figure out how they were going to make addiction funny. While addiction is not funny, they found a way to make it work. I’m glad the special cookies was the number one funny moment episode. It is my favorite episode, it’s hilarious!
Number 7 was pure gold. Jill’s comment about how a group of stupid men would have just backed the car up to the syrup drum had me absolutely howling 😂😂😂
Mom is definitely Chuck Lorre's most underrated show. It managed to make a difficult topic funny (thanks to the amazing Allison Janney), and it managed to have a deft hand in balancing serious issues with humor. As a woman with a physical disability, I appreciated Adam as a character (despite unfortunately being played by a nondisabled actor); he was well-rounded and a great straight-man to balance Bonnie. I like that they were portrayed like an everyday couple where his disability was not always a big deal. One of my favorite episodes is when Adam refuses to throw out a sandwich for a week because he doesn't want Bonnie to be right about him not eating it (one of the few times where she was the more reasonable one).
Bonnie is my favourite female in all of sitcom history, Allison Janney is a genius. The "I love to laminate things!" argument with Adam is always hilarious, as well the Jewish dinner with Violet's boyfriend's mother. "Well Phil, who am I to judge?...I just want you to know I'm a lot younger than you." Also Bonnie attempting to hand Christy a gun before she meets Alvin for the first time. Or when she goes to her job interview "You had friends?" always gets me!
I loved the scene when Bonnie was talking with Adam and said “if you cheat on me I am gonna take the wheels off you chair and leave you in the woods!!” 🤣🤣🤣🤣

While all of these were great moments, I loved any moment with Tammy! She was so funny from day 1 when she tried to attack Bonnie, when she went on her 1st date since prison, when she calls Bonnie "Big Sauce"...she was funny, outrageous but also had a sweet side, and her physical comedy was gold💗
I like their dynamic because Kirsten Johnston is freaking hilarious for anyone who has seen “3rd Rock from the Sun”

Tammy was a terrific addition to the show. I might be biased though because Kristen Johnston is from my home town.

This show was one of my all-time favorites! The cast is perfect and the show is HILARIOUS while dealing with serious issues of addiction.
Even now watching the reruns I still laugh.

I know we’ll see these girls come back in a few years
for a remake, reunion etc.
But until then thank goodness we will always have the reruns
and the endless laughs.
Instead of choosing Bonnie's relapse, you should have selected the events following Bonnie's back injury: Christy's struggles as she attempts to move Bonnie to the bed; Bonnie crying because she has to pee, after finally ending up on the bed; Christy going "Beep, beep, beep!" as Bonnie slowly walks backwards down the stairs; and Christy recording Bonnie as she attempts to fix herself a cup of coffee (complete with dramatic narration).
An honorable mention could have been when Adam meant to toss the car keys to Bonnie, but accidentally hit Christy in the head with them instead. Because they're too wrapped up in their argument, neither Bonnie nor Adam realize that Christy has been "dinged," by the car keys. They storm out, leaving Christy dazed on the sofa.
I love how all of these pretty much focus on Bonnie. Just shows how her character is the best

I agree. Bonnie pulling her skirt up and jumping out the office window should have been included. Also Christy hiding in her ex boss' suitcase as he and his wife argue and play tug of war with it. Tammy attacks Bonnie in prison. Tammy and Rudy's romance, also Tammy's first trip to buy clothes, Tammy taking too many pain pills, Bonnie and Adam fighting over the tuna sandwich., Bonnie getting carried out of the strip club, etc. I could go on........

@@alexandraanderson3988 Rudy is the Executive Chef at the Rustic Fig Restaurant where Christy works as a food server. He is played by French Stewart ( who incidentally co-starred with Kristen Johnston (Tammy) in 3rd Rock From the Sun). Rudy is obnoxious, sarcastic, sexually promiscuous, unprincipled, dabbles in drugs, and regularly steals food from the restaurant.
@@alexandraanderson3988 Rudy appears as a regular in the first couple seasons of the show. Afterwards he still makes one or two appearances each season. In the final season, Adam and Bonnie discover a huge billboard along a highway advertising the strip joint where Christy used to work. They see that practically naked Christy is depicted as the pole dancer on the billboard. Bonnie goes to the strip club and demands that the manager remove Christy's image from the sign. A heated argument ensues and two of the bouncers carry Bonnie out the back door. The story continues from there. I can't stop watching this show. I had never watched it until a coworker recommended it to me. One of the best sitcoms I've watched. Entertaining and some life lessons too.
The number one pick was my favorite episode of them all. Great show! I missed Anna Faris in the last season but still went along for the ride.

The re-runs make me laugh even more after I binged before the series finale. I think it got even funnier once the quartet really formed & then Bonnie meeting Adam (because everything needs more Fitchner)
This show is the most amazing show. It has funny, sad, angry and misunderstanding moments all Rolled into this comedy sitcom. I have learnt a lot of valuable principles just by looking at it as if it something I'm dealing with. Addiction is not funny but they made it work within this show. Bravo to all the ladies who made this show a success.

I am 70 years old and have watched a lot of TV. This is the best show I have seen in all of those years
This show made facing my addiction issues over the years a lot easier. I was already sober when I found it but it's just super relatable for those of us who grew up in dysfunctional family dynamics and went on to struggle with addiction.
The episode where Tammy's parole officer makes a surprise visit and Bonnie runs into the bedroom and grabs Adam's marijuana out of his hands and tosses it out the window without saying anything. All episodes with Bonnie and Trevor. Andy was a great addition too. Slumber party when Bonnie chose dare. I thought the final season was gold. So sad it ended. I thought they could have had at least 2 more successful seasons.

I think the most funny moment in my opinion is when bonny is in therapy and she says how she wrote a letter to her younger self snd trevor says it’s witchcraft it always makes me laugh. Trevor is by far one of my most favorite characters.

I love this show! I'm glad the Number 1 pick was the gang accidentally getting high on pot cookies as that is a great episode. I hope they redo this later as a Top 20 as there are so many more great moments.

Chuck Lorre has some interesting premises for sitcoms: an AA chapter, a woman escaping an abusive relationship, a dialysis support group... Then again, if you can make a sitcom about a Nazi prison camp you can make a sitcom about ANYTHING!!

Love this show!! All are great, but my favorite is when Bonnie goes looking for a job she has a resume for everything pulls up her skirt and jumps out the window to keep from getting caught 😂

My favorite moment of the entire series is when The girls are learning to line dance, and Bonnie stops and answers the phone call. And she goes oh okay thanks. And hangs up. So when asked what it was about she So casually said oh my mother died. And continues dancing. Another one is when she gets caught using Adam's handicap parking permit, and when she sees the cop pull up she dramatically pretends to limp and it's so obviously bad

I discovered this show only 2 months ago and this was after i watched The West Wing and i needed after that to watch everything where Allison Janney was. I watched Mom in 3 weeks and was schocked to find out that this is Chuck Lorre's show because i knew of course about Big Bang Theory but i haven't heard about Mom. And out of all sitcoms that i watched this is my comfort show. When i have a bad day i watch it. I love more everything after season 3 because this storyline in s1 with Violet's pregnancy annoyed me. And i didn't like how they ended Alvin's storyline. And obviously Bonnie is my favourite character. I liked her relationship with Adam so much and that they got married eventually (it was sweet episode). And final episode didn't really feel like finale. I wish they had more seasons.
My funniest mom's moment is when Bonnie sleeps with the chef Rudy and he decides he don't want her no more and she goes and destroys his wine collection and make some suck her toes that is too freaking funny man

My favorite funny moment, I never get tired of waits the Audrey Hepburn...one where Bonnie + Adam are on their honeymoon. Bonnie's flipping out + Everything about Adam is getting to her. Really the whole show is funny...But first his feminine sunglasses makes her shoot daggers at him w/ her eyes..then the Absolute Best is when he's reading + gives a weird chuckle. She goes 'OH MY GOD! FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE I 'M MARRIED TO A BOOK CHUCKLER?!!'
