I love the little detail where, when America was younger, his colors were very vivid like UK's, but gradually became less and less saturated until the once-bright red and blue of his flag became the shade we see at the end with his tired and defeated eyes.

When UK hugs small America, UK has both arms, when UK is lying in the puddle of blood only 1 arm is visible and in any frame set after that UK has 1 arm and a 2nd metal/prosthetic arm. So supposedly during Americas war for independance, he cut off UKs arm. I love that little detail, I can't believe I havent noticed it sooner

I stopped watching ch stuff a while ago but I just have to say, this is really incredible. I’m currently learning American history and I think you captured their relationship perfectly. You did a good job with an amazing song choice and really really good art. Wow.

I’ve watched this at least 6 times and just now realized that AMERICA FREAKING CHOPPED OFF ONE OF UK’S ARMS. I had been rewatching it in 0.75 to take in all of the beauty and try to understand what events were being portrayed. UK’S METAL ARM THREW ME OFF.
America violently “broke away” from British control. Thats how they became a country. They had a revolution with Britain and won. Their national holiday celebrates this “Independence Day”

• U.S.S. Constitution
Although neither have been in direct confrontation with each other, it still shows just how far America has come from breaking apart from the British Empire but still holds some respect for their former overlord/father.

Aaaaaaawwwwww.... That's so amazing. I really loved the thing that you showed UK's and Ame's relationship so deep (but someone is trying to ship them, oh God) with such a touching song. I can't stop rewatching it. A low bow to you for this masterpiece.
The og of this song is about a couple who where unsure about there relationship, but you transformed it to a Father-Son conflict and I love how the singer sings the, I love his voice so much.
But as I watched this video more and more, I understand the problem. America🇺🇸 was afraid to face Britain because he was afraid that he would hurt him again, since he cut Britain's🇬🇧 arm off that he wouldn't want to see him again, so he kept his distance and didn't encouter him. But the more 🇺🇸 kept his distance, the more worried he got for his Son and when they were at the 🏥, 🇬🇧 was probably asking what happened and then 🇺🇲 said the reason why and started to get slighty emotional during the talk.Then at the end he saw his father sad sitting somewhere and he saw him and probably thought that it would a good idea to show the boat that he gave him. After that, they showed love towards eachother and a hugged it out when he had the toy 🛥. Now they are a better family. (This is my perspective of what happened between those two😅)
