i’m playing pugsley in a musical coming up! do you have any tips? i’ve never had a large role before and am watching videos to develop a sense of character for him. i’m so glad you had a fun time playing him, i’m sure you were absolutely incredible!
@@yourelovedsheher6137 hi, first of all, congratulations on your first lead!! Pugsley is such a great part and you are going to have so much fun playing him! My biggest tip to you is to try to find a mix between weird, mean, and innocent, which is a really weird mix of personality traits but when combined together makes the perfect pugsley. So on some scenes you’re going to want to make sure he’s mean and rude, in some scenes you’re going to want to make sure he’s just flat out weird, and in some scenes you’re going to want to make sure he’s innocent and sweet since he is a youthful character. As far as the nerves for having your first lead go, I totally feel you there, playing leads for the first time is so nerve-wracking! My best advice is to remember that if the director didn’t think you could do it, they wouldn’t have cast you! The director put you as that role because they believe in you and your talent, so make sure to believe in yourself! Break a leg, I’m sure you will be phenomenal
Dang, you guys are a little harsh on Jen. It's not easy to do theatre/musical theatre, let alone sing like this and although the OG Wednesday from the cartoons and shows is different you have to realize and take into consideration the concept of this particular song and this version as a musical. Musical theatre is dramatic and lively so yes, they aren't acting as stiff as other versions but that's because it's a MUSICAL therefore, everything jazzed up, figuratively speaking and even a bit literally.
_____When they said there was more than one Pugley actor, I thought they were gonna say...they needed a backup just in case. Two Pugleys, yeah. That's 'cause they know how things can get. Hey, you never know. So in our eyes, Pugley will never grow old. That's 'cause HE'LL NEVER GET THE CHANCE. Damn, the morticians did a good job with the last one.
Kids are only allowed to work certain hours, hence why they have several child actors pending on age, like Pugsley, Annie, little Eponine n little Cosette, Matilda etc etc
Anya Naylor I was in the play two years ago. I was that tax collector guy, I don't remember his name though. Soon I'll be in the musical Anything Goes.
I’ll be performing Wednesday at my community theatre and I’ll be wearing the braids. I think that people have different opinions and I think either hairstyles work for Wednesday, that’s my opinion. I also love just watching other versions of The Addams Family, and working on my belt for Pulled.
This is just... WRONG! Wednesday is supposed to be like her mom! Mysterious, graceful, fluid/ no harsh movements, not exaggerated, unlike the ones delivered by the actress here. Morticia on the other hand still had some harsh movements but she's fine. Still overall, the casts failed to deliver "The Addams Atmosphere" which is pretty disappointing for die hard fans like me. :/
Mei Chan okokokok you don't know the plot... in this song, (Pulled) Wednesday is falling in love and "becoming" less like herself. She's being "pulled in a new direction".
Yeah I really hate the way the musical changes Wednesday. Like the whole plot depends on her being happy and like ?? Hello no thanks. Unfortunately it's not just this cast that does it this way , it's the way the musical is written .-.
I just don't like the person who plays pugsley in this version. He's to much fat chubby sandlot version than the Broadway version which I like. Also Wednesday, ehhh she's fine
His character is litterally "a strange fat kid". It's even in a song. Thai is the musical NOT THE MOVIE! And this kid was adorable and doesn't deserve your hate!
I love Jenn, I had the pleasure of working this show and meeting her. She's very sweet in person and amazingly talented.
Well um... nice user lol I love Black Butler
i wish this interview would have been done with Krysta….
This wasn't an interview for the Broadway Show, it was for the tour, which Krysta didn't do.
You can see her wig is coming off.
Playing pugsley was the best experience of my life honestly it was such a fun role and I’m sad it’s over

everything is*
The actress with the easiest key to learn to sing "pulled", is UK actress Carrie Hope Fletcher, who played Wednesday in the UK Tour of the show

Jen's looking at him like she wants to kill him lol
I wish I could meet The Cast of The Addams Family.
the addams family musical is the dark version of you can't take it with you.
Anya Naylor I was in the play two years ago. I was that tax collector guy, I don't remember his name though. Soon I'll be in the musical Anything Goes.
Anya Naylor Yeah, henderson, that's who that was. I don't really remember Ed though. In fact, I don't remember any of the character's names.
Anya Naylor Ah, Yes. I remember what they are, but as far as names goes, I am clueless, was the families last names Sycamore?
Anya Naylor alrighty, that's cool.
Ipoiooooktoobbtpppp
Jen reminds me of emma stone
liv cunliffe omg yes!!!
I'm like Jennifer as well, and being a mum to a 15 and a 7 yr old, you get away with being funny and do fun things

i had a good time at The Addams Family musical my favorite song from The Addams Family musical is One Normal Night or Full Disclosure
It's like as if she is constantly method acting, it's a tad bit annoying and she looks like she wants to slap him so hard
I want to audition for Pugsley but now that I'm seeing he gives off a scream like that, not sure if I can pull it off
Very interesting
Jeremy is so cute :)
0:09 😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆
Is this the National Tour or Broadway production?
I’m excited to be Wednesday for Halloween but I’m going to need some help to look for a costume for Wednesday for Halloween
Where is the interview with Gomez and Morticia
Jennifer what is it like playing Wednesday Addams?
Wednesday needs braids
I did this for my school play and I was an ansester
not jeremy t posing in the thumbnail
cool yaya
Cool
Just think her singing voice sounds too childish for Wednesday
Kailun Dennie that’s just her voice and maybe the song too. Your voice can change based on the song you’re singing. I think she’s amazing!!
Ehhh BUT wednesday is a Child tho
I'm 12 and I'm singing pulled
that aint Wednesday... she would look better with black hair.. -_- smart girl tho and the brother is more accurate for the role
He's a very big and loud pugsley

can u say bad acting
Yo guys ruined the original version so much like why and everyone knows wenesday has two braids and the acting is bad
Jada Reed in the musical she is older than in the comics and in the movies. A cut song explained when they cut her braids because of her coming of age
Actually, Wednesday is not supposed to have braids in the musical.
The acting isn’t bad, man. The WRITING is a little spotty, though
@@mikefortier7081 yeah, I did this show in highschool, the writing can be... Weird sometimes
Wednesday is around 18-early 20s in this musical.
Jen fuckerdy? Wtf?
I just don't like the person who plays pugsley in this version. He's to much fat chubby sandlot version than the Broadway version which I like. Also Wednesday, ehhh she's fine
hi
Ok then.
Well, this conversation escalated quickly.
pugsley is the 'strange fat kid' tho
His character is litterally "a strange fat kid". It's even in a song. Thai is the musical NOT THE MOVIE! And this kid was adorable and doesn't deserve your hate!
Cool
