I'm imagining a scene where Ginyu steals Perfect Cell's body and Jeice convinces him to let 18 and 17 free.
That would require Cell regress back to his imperfect form if he lets go both 17 and 18 unless he gets a massive Zenkai to become Perfecter Cell.
That can happen like in the fan made manga Ginyu stole cold body and mad it his own
@@timoylumontad3920 I was thinking of it in terms of Ginyu actually GIVING UP POWER in order to do the right thing. As a turning point of him actually becoming good. I don't think he'd need to or should stay Perfect in this case.

@@Lightpaladin720 Oh yeah, same. Especially since, if Cell has Frieza's DNA, he likely has DNA on the GInyus too, so maybe we can have a moment where Cell is doing a pose either to mock them or because he can't deny a clash of poses.

I hope this becomes as big as his other What Ifs like What if Hercule Trained like Goku. Cant imagine how the Tournament of Power would go if, instead of Krillin, Tien and Roshi, we get powered up versions of Burter, Recoome and Ginyu!
That would not be fair,Krillin surpassed everyone except from MAYBE captain ginyu back when he was fighting freeza on namek and Tien must have surpassed most of them after his training with Kaio
They can replace Roshi and freeza but not krillin or Tien
I can already trying to switch sides to become Beerus' and Whis' servants (f what Ginyu said about "switchign sdies immediately for the strongest one holds any grounds").
I can see Gurdo or Ginyu becoming relatively more prevalent. I mean Hit is Gurdo but better.
AND the possibility of shenanigans with Ginyu. It could even fill up a whole what if chapter with pure shenanigans!
Rather see jeice instead of recoom since burter and Jeice were better partners

This actually kinda makes sense, given how they're characterized in the games (particularly Xenoverse 2) they do seem to be one of the more likely groups to reform

Imagine how the deceased Z-Fighters and King Kai react to Ginyu Force turning good thanks to Goku.
Ginyu might just break this What-If, huh? - Cell achieves Perfect form - "CHANGE NOW!!" - Buu awakens - "CHANGE NOW!!" - Goku Black appears - "CHANGE NOW!!", and Ginyu finally gets that Goku body he liked so much. (Jiren steps up - "CHANGE NOW!!") ... And when does Bonyu join back in?
And then Ginyu encounters either Gas or Granolah and changes into that form

I _love_ the Ginyu Force. They always had such a positive energy about them, in a machismo kind of way, and it was always a delight watching them. They were fun in the anime, they were fun in Xenoverse, Captain Ginyu is the best mentor (fight me), and I am _so_ down for them to be the posing superheroes the world needs in a time before the Great Saiyaman rises.
Wait… you can get him as mentor?!? When?!? I’ve just got the game! And he’s my favorite bad guy!
@mollyshadows9726 Hell yeah you can~ :3 It's been a while since I played, but if I remember right, mentors appear in the city generally as you complete their relevant arcs in the story, so you just gotta get through the Frieza saga I think.

I always felt the Ginyu force weren't truly evil. And I love this idea. They were ruled by a tyrant that they blindly followed (probably alot of that had to do with absolute fear of immediate death). I would have loved to see them at least resurrected as potential baddies in the series.... only to realize that they were never that bad in the first place, and no longer under the rule of said tyrant. Then sort of have their own cameos throughout the remaining series. Very similar to this idea. Kudos Masako. love it as always.

Actually, Toriyama was inspired by Super Sentai, which is Power Rangers in america, so, Toriyama was inspired by the Power Rangers/Super Sentai to create the Ginyu Force. This is true, look it up.

Can you imagine Ginyu with Cell's body in this what if? Not only would that be funny as Cell loses his body but a good Ginyu with Perfect Cell's body could be a real game changer in the Buu saga and Super.

@@strifenineteen Ginyu never had that problem, except with Goku, the reason is, he can't replicate the techniques, and Goku's power came from kaioken in namek saga, without kaioken, Ginyu became weaker by taking Goku's body

This is why I love the Ginyu Force.
This really eased my stress. Getting to see the Ginyu Force become good guys is really nice. And the Ginyu Dance School is an amazing idea for them as well as the heroes for hire idea. I hope that this becomes a multi part series like the others ended up becoming.

Here's another potential what-if scenario: What if Goku was permanently in Ginyu's body?
If the Ginyu Force turn good, they would be taught by Goku to sense Ki energy and no longer rely on Scouters other than communicate anymore.
Since goku is in ginyu's body, he can't go super saiyan because goku is no longer a saiyan and frieza wins. yaaaaay death!
He'd be irrelevant just like everyone else.

@@thepokemon0822Well, unless Ginyu's body also has transformations and ways to push it further that he didn't know about before because Ginyu most likely never trained because of Frieza keeping him down.
You know I have always genuinely liked the Ginyu Force. They didn't really seem all too evil, just loyal to Frieza, and its nice seeing them in a decent light. I hope part two has them be helpful in some form.
Honestly, this is ALREADY not that far-fetched. They're technically the Power Rangers, but they work for Freeza! It's not that much of a stretch!!!

This is TRULY one of my favorite concepts entirely.
It also allows for a flexible depth of "and Cell spawned his disgusting progeny" and shortly after, "Burter had seen the promise of Gohan and steeled himself harder than his heart had ever beaten before. Without even a glance, he knew the one person who had never even flickered when it came to their bond was right alongside him. Jace screamed his throat bloody as they mixed their poweres, giving every single drop of soul they had to reduce the threat. Pride, or no, they both understood, there was more to protect than the flair they so loved... In their sacrifice, Cell was hurt, and his dozens of spawn, were brought to a 1-upon-1 slaughter... Their courageous sacrifice, giving only the slightest sliver of hope to this world... But sometimes, a sliver is all you need...."

That's it, this April Fools video has made me want to see them revived in the What If Frieza Turned Good series to serve good boy Frieza, after all, if Freezy-pop can turn good, then surely his ever-loyal elite squad would happily follow their Lord's most dignified example.
Eh that Frieza is more like a Cowboy Behop story he needs companions not henchmen.

The Ginyus were always my favorite characters in Z, and I'm elated to see them finally getting more presence in the story. Looking forward to seeing how they develop and what parts they play moving forward!

I can actually see Hercule trying to take use of this. "The space heroes with the world champion!" Where he learns about Goku all before the Cell Saga. Who knows? Maybe he will start training? Will Ginyu try to take his body to try and fight Goku but making Hercule stronger?

This is my favorite 'What If?' I've always wanted more of the Ginyu Force, they definitely have more content potential than what we got to see.
You always have a way of making these scenarios without making them unnatural, and i really do enjoy these stories because of it!

The Buu Saga's gonna be sick. I wish this wasn't an April Fools what if, it's something I've genuinely wanted to see. Imagine the Jeice and Burter fusion... delicious.
This really cracked me up. It was a ton of fun and I'd love to see more of this. It was really a great way to distract from how things are going in reality for a while. Please make more of this what if! It promises to be a lot of fun and could lead some really fantastic stuff down the line. :D
