I use aboit thumb size rock sugar for two box of regular chicken broth that is already seasoned and teaspoon of salt to taste. We tend to use rock sugar over regular sugar for broths.

Mainly add MSG for stronger taste and less time consuming. Without MSG you will have to stew the chicken broth thicker and longer.
