Why Fake Crash with green pants does not do his iconic dance as a victory pose in Nitro Kart thought? Maybe because he is actually fake Fake Crash? It would explain why he was imprisoned in that GBA game.
He had green pants so that you didn't confuse Crash and Fake crash.
Of course I know that.
In the playstation games, you could easily know which was which by looking at their faces, but in the gameboy advanced, the screen was so small you couldn't see his face clearly enough, and the develpoers tought "People would confuse the two!" so they made him wear green pants instead of blue.
In other words, he changed pants due to hardware limitations.
EE ROCKK and in the GBA version of Nitro Kart you can also find him somewhere but you'd have to know every tile of the entire map, I think it was in the Out Of Time track, but if you continue driving along the outside wall, you'll find a pink flower southeast of the track, and all you have to do is drive over it. Now you'll officially be outside of the map by this point, now turn right and continue driving straight and you'll see two lights off in the distance. Drive towards those two and you'll see fake crash sitting down by a fire, and letters in the dirt spelling 'HELP' . If you drive into him, he'll explain how he got lost in the wasteland you found him in, and after that, he becomes a playable character. This applies to all modes of the game, by the way, but it only applies to that specific map and he's also playable in all modes except for adventure mode

The biggest surprise for me was finding out that Fake Crash actually had a boss fight. Like, I'm legit surprised. He's always been shown to be a Easter egg or gag character and yet, there he is in imaginators as a surprise boss fight.

*THE TRUE ORIGINS OF FAKE CRASH:*
We know from the end of CTR, Crash sells his story and produces a movie. So Fake Crash is the original Crash that saved the world and "real" Crash is the Hollywood version complete with plastic surgery. They made him out to be better than he was :o
Anyone find it ironic how Fake Crash was based off a Japanese Crash toy, yet he is well-loved in Japan? His inclusion in Crash Bash/Crash Carnival is a true sign of that.

Fake Crash first appeared in Crash 3, where they travel in time. So depending on the timeline of the level he appeared in, he could be another Cortex creation from future, or alternate fate of Crash in different circumstances.

To be fair, he’s normally an Easter Egg unlocked through specific conditions(get the true ending in Warped, complete the Purple Gem Cup in CTR, 50+ consecutive boosts as Team Cortex in CNK’s Adventure Mode, a secret room in Dragon Castles in Purple, 100% Completion in the N. Sane Trilogy)

So fake crash isn't on the side of good or evil. Notice in racing and party games the good guys are paired together and the bad guys. Then their is crash lurking away from the group. In crash nitro cart he is even paired with the good guys placement wise. Well before the good guys. Now granted he will sometimes cause mischief, but I don't think it is from evil. Either he is selfish and sometimes he sees a way to gain from his actions, or he just is a prankster which is what I think.
