Good info, tyvm. If I could suggest one thing that would help me out IMMENSELY; If you could have a map in the bottom right corner that shows where you are on a map that would amazing. Very similar to how you point with an arrow but have in on throughout the whole time showing where your dood is. My biggest issue is recognizing exactly where I am while having a map resource on my other monitor, especially being really new and all the textures are brand new to me.
The wikipedia page has a good map. Experience actually playing, and especially under stress of a firefight, will get you to memorize the map better than watching these kinds of videos.
thanks, I've bought the game yesterday and this walkthrough with no cuts has been what made me understand the map the most. I saw a 5 minutes guide at first, but I have not enough memory to commit all those info condensed so close together.
I have 2000 hours in this game since December 2018 and still enjoy watching these videos. The little tips and tricks you drop in each video are extremely helpful.
Run. Run far away from customs. Lol I couldn't survive a single raid pmc or scav for like first 50 raids in game using customs. If you scav into shoreline i find its almost guaranteed that you can get the scav gear out loot a bit and even bop another scav and take that gear as well

I think he means because it’s so central and other parts of the map net more usually, as well as a g card is a a rare spawn in there let alone in offline, good spot though!
I'm brand new to PC gaming (just got my first PC last week) and EFT is the first game I bought. O M F G I'm rethinking my life. I finally made it out of my first offline raid as a PMC (it took like 15 raids). I know this is probably hilarious to most of you, but it took so much time to wrap my head around even the most basic functions of the game. Next goal is to make it out as a SCAV. Good god I've got a lot to learn. I need to play so much more in order to get a handle on the map itself. This video is great and all, but it's waaaaaaay too fast paced for me. I need a slow tutorial that breaks down the fundamentals.
Glad you got a gaming PC. But keep in mind that EFT is probably the hardest shooter you could have picked up. I spent hundreds of hours in Battlefield, ArmA, DayZ and Insurgency, but still this game is giving me the pain... ;D
@@Marduk1813 Yep I fully agree. After 3 weeks of playing, it is indeed the hardest shooter I could have imagined. But I love it - it's incredible. I'm understanding more and more and feel like I am developing a solid understanding of the basics.

I survived a raid a week ago and felt really good because I secured some great loot and killed a PMC. Afterwards, I spent the next hour tweaking my gear and weapon to create the very best setup I could come up with (fully confident I would extract from the raid again). Needless to say, I was killed immediately - within the first 30 seconds off the raid. I was devastated! Lost all my best loot right off the bat! I just stared at my screen in disbelief. Lesson learned the hard way.
26:00 The M133 can spawn in there and is actually needed for the debut quest. So if you just startet the first quest and struggle the get the scav kills always go look in there.

Repair shop is definitely my always go-to spots. Especially when I am scav running, always some cpu fans or vodka spawning in the green screen room. But I think the spot he missed is below the green screen room, there are racks that spawn barter items, weapon attachments and sometimes rarely medical items on the couch.
me trying to learn customs.. loads in at a different spot than pestilly. instantly lost and running around like my heads cut off lol. maps are so hard to learn when you have no sense of direction on were you are going
you'll get there it just takes practice. Woods was the hardest one for me to learn because lots of that map looks exactly the same so you have to look for landmarks to figure out where you are......without walking off the edge of the map and in to landmines, yeah no wall on the left side of woods just landmines and signs for landmines, they will fuck you up lol.
If you have a 2nd monitor keep an online map of the map you are playing on to look at and try and figure out where you are, if you dont have a 2nd monitor, get one
30 min video took me 2.5 hours to watch it and follow along.. but super helpfull! Subscribed and cant wait to run through the rest of the videos with your map!

In skelator they’re is also a backroom and a staircase that have 1 big green armor and weapons crate, 2 small box army crates and a med box as well. Just so everyone knows, tends to not be looted as often ether.

@@timothyshannon5910 In 2 story dorms at the entrance, is a little room (guard desk) which you can open, the loot is okay, but not great. You can find it from the dead scav in the showers, but if you really want it you might as well buy it.

I think the reason why people hang out so much in storage is that its next to the major exit on customs. For me personally I had a little extra time and was sneaking around looking for more to extract with.
7:00 I find horses and other such items behind the doll on the floor pretty much every time I'm there. I've found a lion and a vase and I have been there only about 10-15 times but I go every time I'm near by
Once i've found a graphics card at New Gas. Entering from the front on top of the shelves to the left. Usually pliers or herring or something like that spawns there.

The room pestily in just prior to leaving at 6:20, on the floor next to PC is a tech spawn. You can find Graphics Cards and other similar tech loot.

In the green screen room you can find a Gfx card either under the computer table or in the right-hand PC tower. I have done so many times.
Customs is actually my favourite map

I've found a graphics card in a stash to the left of bus station when you are facing it. Its in a bush next to some fallen branches.

Under the concrete train platform next to big skelie there's a stash and a scav backpack spawn. i find the backpack about 1/3 of the time

When you enter greenscreen room in USEC building there's a chance for a graphics card spawn under the desk next to the computer.
So much easier if you watch this guide and then explore this map with an map pulled up on your second monitor.
