Happy to hear you talking about Ahriman!! Ever since i read about him in the heresy novel "Prospero burns" I've had respect and admiration for him. And im saying this as a Salamanders loyalist. I resonate a lot with his thoughts and decisions, so much so that i have him as a display piece among my Salamanders in my display cabinet. The tragic tale of the thousand sons is one which fascinates me. I wrote some short stories about surviving thousand sons finding their home world destroyed and teaming up with salamanders in a remote corner of the galaxy 😂 there is a lot more to it off course, impossible situation and no other choice but to team up against the mass enemy ranks but still fun to read.

Woo new Luetin video, if you're gonna post several this week I've got a months worth of videos to watch. Because I'm part of the Luetin sleep club and always have to restart from where I remember. Takes me days to finish a video xD And I don't mean that in a bad way, listening to you is soothing and relaxing and after a long day of work I like to just lay down, put on a Luetin video to unwind and then I never make it to the end in one sitting. What great timing that I am actually reading A Thousand Sons right now. I found it very interesting to see the Thousand Son´s relation to their powers and what philosophies they follow. The book actually features the Council of Nikea but at that point you could already tell that telling them to stop using their powers is akin to telling them to stop breathing.

Its not related to the video but i wanted to say thank you @Luetin09 for recommending the warhammer crime novels in previous videos, finally finished by other books and I've started listening to them and while I'm only half way though the first book I'm greatly enjoying it.
I thinik it is criminal not to mention the stormseers, as they warned of the influence of the warp, while promoting a trained, careful use of it, even before the council. They are the typical reserved, wise psychers. Well trained and careful even more so than the DA
Agreed. Another fun fact is the Khan determined he was going to ignore emperor’s ruling of the council. The only reason the Khan bothered to send a representative at all was he didn’t want his sons to feel conflicted, but he just straight up ignored the ruling.
One can stretch his suspension of disbelief very thin to accommodate a particular story or lore bit within the 40k universe . Banning the only fighting force capable of effectively counter a known existential threat to humanity , like the warp tends to be, is one of those perfect storm decisions that the Emperor took in order to ensure his crusade fails . I guess for me this is one one of times when my suspension of disbelief stretched so thin it tore itself apart.
